THE INTERNATIONAL CRYPTOZOOLOGY MUSEUM is OPEN! Founded in 2003 by renowned cryptozoologist Loren Coleman... after 2 great decades in Portland, Maine, the museum has completed its move to Bangor, where it has more space, more exhibits... & more cryptid magic! I sure want to go!

Been sorting out details for my Oklahoma trip... & for at least a portion of it I'll be staying in a remote area in Clear Creek County, OK. Not terribly far from the Heyburn Lake area. There have been a number of purported BIGFOOT sightings near, so fingers crossed one stops by!

The sheer siluette of DOGMAN is enough to spawn mind numbing fear for most. This visual isn't uncommon, as a notable number of encounters occur at night, when a shadowy outline is all you get! This makes positive identification tricky at best. Watch the edges of those cornfields!

POTTAWATOMIE COUNTY, OKLAHOMA... DOGMAN HOTSPOT??? There are numerous purported dogman sightings in the region. I recall an early episode of Dogman Encounters Radio taking place near Shawnee. I've tracked the exact location, & plan to visit the site in the coming weeks. #cryptid

THE JERSEY DEVIL • This "creature" is firmly rooted in the folklore of New Jersey... leathery bat-wings, goat-like head, horns, hooves & possibly some anger issues associated with its 12 normal siblings... being the 13th child was said to have birthed this curse to begin with!

THE EASTERN BARRED BANDICOOT is BACK! Declared extinct over 30 years ago! In 1991 its numbers had dwindled to only 60 individuals living in a landfill site in Victoria Australia. A breeding program using remarkable modern technology has allowed for its historic return! 👏👏👏

Last night I had a marathon of "DOGMAN" themed titles from Small Town Monsters! Thanks to Samsung TV Plus! But... with so many streaming options for STM, anyone can have a marathon, anytime the mood strikes! You just have to ask yourself... is this a werewolf kinda day?... YEAH!

It intrigues how often DOGMAN is purportedly spotted up in the trees. This seems an unusual act for a purported canid. But, with their "hands" (not paws), often likened to that of a racoon... it's climbing abilities seem more plausible. Tree "werewolves" are pure nightmare fuel!

Historically, werewolf lore is deeply intertwined with the snow & winter months. Specifically the 12 Nights of Christmas, as these 12 days were dreaded as the darkest & coldest, making this window near the Solstice... WEREWOLF SEASON! Symbolic of isolation & the dark unknown.

We all think of moths when thinking of the Mothman for obvious reasons, but Owlman or Birdman were also considered names. The true visual appearance of "Mothman" may be far more disturbing than the airborne life we liken it to, with flight being the only real crossover attribute.
