Auburn trying to copy the @penn_state #WhiteOut, looking more like a melting creamsicle. 🤷🏻‍♀️
Happy to announce starting in late Aug I return to @penn_state as an Assistant Teaching Professor & Project Manager with Youth Engineering Solutions. I'm extremely grateful for my colleagues here at Create, but thrilled to return to @PSU_CollegeOfEd and my SciEd folks!

When you try to get your aunt to buy you a $25 volcano making kit at a target, but she has a PhD in Sci Ed, and knows you can do it with what’s already at home for free…

My name is Katie and I endorse this tweet. Grateful when I said “I think I want to go to grad school” this guy basically said, “come to the dark side, we have cookies.”
We asked current students and alumni about people in the College of Education who made that a difference to them. Today, we are spotlighting Professor @smcdonald, director of the Krause Innovation Studio. 💙 #BeTheChange

Why are we still giving “perfect attendance” awards in schools? It’s ableist and we are in a pandemic still. Can we please come up with other ways to acknowledge students?

What are we going to do so I don’t have to keep resharing this @AJEForum series from four years ago? We started writing it in response to the 20218 Parkland shooting & a week before published, there was another rampage school shooting in Santa Fe 1/x ajeforum.com/tag/school-shoo…

I want to see action. I want to see more than thoughts and prayers. There are clear action items (more gun laws, more access to mental health support for a start) that can stop this. We need to find schools so they can have the staff to recognize and support kids 4/x

We need people using their platforms, their money, their power to make big change, otherwise this happens again, and again and I’m terrified that the next time will be my niece and nephews schools, my friends childrens schools- but really ANYONES school. Make it stop. 5/x

Getting started on Day 2 of Dialogic Reflexivity. Very grateful to Dr. St. Pierre for sharing her thoughts with us and pushing the boundaries of what it means to be researchers, to do work. @NomadikMind @DrDSteele_PhD @SaralynMC
