I wear a mask...
because I'm going through treatment.
Why do you mask?

I actually think the Covid Conscious are amazing people. It takes a lot of strength to survive in a world that is almost wholly against you. Sticking to your guns and continuing to share what you know to be real.

Imagine waking up tomorrow and every billionaire vanished.
Most people would still go to work.
Food would still be grown.
Roads would still be built.
Hospitals would still operate.
Now imagine every worker vanished.
That's the difference between wealth and value.

I really donβt understand true greed. If I was worth $1 trillion, youβd have to physically stop me from solving as many of the worldβs problems as possible.
Everyone would have a home, food on the table, proper healthcare, happiness.
I just donβt get it.
so sick of companies having ai chatbots instead of real humans working in customer support as if there arenβt thousands of people in desperate need for a jobβ¦. cutting costs to have a computer do a completely subpar job is so infuriating

If schools want to improve academic performance and mental health outcomes, perhaps trying to prevent the students and staff from getting covid over and over again could help with that.

4 years later (than when originally posted), but a whole lot louder in a society that has accepted incessant/unnecessary sickness so as to uphold the post pandemic simulation.

SARS-CoV-2 is so dangerous precisely because of its insidious nature. Its propensity to continually re-infect. The superficial similarity of the symptoms it causes to those of other common viruses. The unseen risk of sequelae. That wretched molecular shark tricks almost everyone.

I donβt care whether the government, private insurance, or a magical healthcare unicorn pays the bill.
I just donβt think a middle-class family should go bankrupt because someone got cancer.

You ran right back to normal when they said the pandemic was over & didn't care what happened to the vulnerable falling by the wayside.
But the price of "normal" included bodily damage from repeat covid infections.
Now you've become the vulnerable & don't even realize it.
Low covid is actually the ideal time for everyone to don masks/stay in for 3 weeks, since that's the best bet for elimination.
But unfortunately that needs global cooperation and most of us don't even have our family's cooperation.
