🚨 What do you do when you get a COSPLAY EMERGENCY? 🚨 For more than a decade, the legendary Captain Patch-It has travelled the convention circuit all across Australia, rescuing cosplayers from wardrobe disasters and costume catastrophes, completely free of charge. This year, he's again reporting for duty at the Cosplay Repair booth in AVCon's Cosplay Corner, armed with his trusty hot glue gun and thread bandolier, ready to save the day. Cosplay repair will be able to cover all kinds of cosplay emergency, from clothing, armour, props, wigs, makeup, sewing, and even foam or3D printed armour - he'll have the supplies to get you through the weekend! Jin Chan Yum Wai is a multi-disciplinary creative veteran with over a decade of professional experience spanning manga publishing, indie game development, and localization. As the founder of Shrine Comics, Jin has dedicated himself to creating a global platform focused entirely on discovering, elevating, and publishing talented independent manga creators from all over the world. Through both the Shrine Comics digital app and its expanding initiatives, his mission is to bridge the gap between brilliant indie manga voices and a global audience. Beyond his leadership at Shrine Comics, Jin brings deep industry expertise to his projects. He is the Creative Director behind UNDYING, the acclaimed zombie survival indie game from Vanimals, and the author of the popular webcomic series High School Romance. Additionally, he works on mainstream hits as a letterer for the Shonen Jump localization team, helping bring some of the world's biggest manga properties to English-speaking readers. Jin will be at AVCon all weekend, hosting panels on manga creation and the Australian manga industry.
