Today we presented our second ITAPS appreciation award. Steph Pollard works in LGH Orthopaedic Theatres was nominated by her colleagues. According to her team Steph is always smiley and looks after the wellbeing of everyone. She is valued by the theatre and clinician team. โญ๏ธโญ๏ธ๐

Work has begun on a new garden for ICU patients at the LRI. Over the next few weeks the courtyard in Balmoral building will be transformed. Sister, Zoe Bradley, said: โItโll make a huge difference to patients and their families to have a lovely, green space to visit.โ

Today we opened the doors to our brand new ยฃ8.6m endoscopy decontamination unit at Glenfield Hospital.
A dedicated team of nearly 50 colleagues will clean and prepare tens of thousands of endoscopes every year improving care for patients.
