Nothing screams "Participation Award" louder than an actor thinking they are entitled to have a Blockbuster because "They worked hard"

Has anyone noticed the Government has stopped talking about Digital ID lately? Its almost as if they've have found another way to implement it without telling anyone...

One thing no one mentions with this push for Digital ID is how much more vulnerable EVERYONE will be. Is there a company or Government body ANYWHERE in the world that HASN'T had a data breach? Everyone's data online means everyone's data is up for grabs

Wait, you're doing something from your manifesto?
In 2023 I announced a Labour government would reform outdated cohabitation laws to grant equal rights to unmarried couples. Seeing that promised in our 2024 manifesto remains one of my proudest moments as Shadow AG. I’m delighted to see the government finally taking action!

It's about good stories.... The budget is irrelevant. You know that. Was Project Hail Mary mega-budget corporate slop? It was a $200 million dollar venture. This was never about budget, always about good writing.

Christopher Nolan gets ripped by Greek-interest publication for hypocrisy in his DEI "Odyssey" casting: β€œAncient Greece is not simply an aesthetic backdrop... If Hollywood truly believes representation matters, then Greek representation should matter too” trib.al/a0zQ7f7

Its not really corporate laziness (well maybe a bit) but more corporate cowardice. No one wants to take a risk now
If Hollywood only produces unoriginal movie sequels and superhero reboots, is it corporate laziness, or is it the fact that the public refuses to buy tickets for original indie films?

In the gritty, cynical world of Blake's 7, Vila was the heart of the show, always ready with a quick quip and the odd burst or three of cowardice. Michael Keating avoided making him a cipher, and played him to perfection. RIP.

πŸ’”RIP Michael Keating, -My favourite of Blake's 7
We're both very sad to hear of the passing of Michael Keating. Blake's 7 wouldn't have been what it was without him. Some of the most memorable moments were all down to him, and by all accounts he was a wonderful chap. He'll be missed.

There was a bit of fretting about banks and airport, but there wasn't many personal computers about, and no smart phones so people weren't that bothered. It would be chaos if it had happened with todays level of tech
I wonder how people felt at 11:59 p.m. of dec. 1999 before crossing over to the year 2000.

I have quite an odd origin story for being an Anglophile, which is that I first fell in love with British cooking. I had heard so often the stereotype of it being terrible, so I went to an English pub and actually tried the stuff. I found it phenomenal and fitting to my palette. It really is quite great. Bangers and mash, beef Wellington, shepherds pie, meat pies, yes even things like beans on toast are all great, hearty food that is honestly my favorite cuisine. My favorite breakfast of all is a full English, with black pudding and all, alongside a cup of English breakfast tea with a splash of milk. I am actually of the belief that this particular stereotype was actually crafted specifically to facilitate mass replacement migration, to build false pretenses that the native ethnic foods and culture of European peoples were simply inferior to nons, when that could not be further from the truth.
