Smoking has a higher prevalence in the armed forces. Whilst not all lung cancer is caused by smoking, it is a key contributing factor. @TeamQEH in collab with @TheDMWS we have an Armed Forces Welfare Officer who can offer support - why not ask to be referred ?

Cancer can be overwhelming. We're providing a safe space where you can talk to our support team. Join our Lung Cancer Support Group on the last Monday of every month in the Cancer Wellbeing Support Centre. Please register by calling 01553 214547 or emailing wellbeing@qehkl.nhs.
