One thing I didn't predict in this post-apocalyptic, pay-for-play CFB world:
A successful HC and his school's Athletic Department could (should?) want that very HC shopping himself to high-profile jobs, even leaking information that the HC is very likely to leave, with max effect if this can play out during a playoff run.
Previously, this was a nightmare scenario for your high school recruiting efforts with early signing day being a much bigger deal.
Now, it's the ultimate leverage move to pull as much as possible from your donor base for future talent acquisition. The ability to pay for amazing WRs, edge rushers, cover guys, QBs, athletic tackles, etc., is the only thing that matters.
I know people are talking about Crumbl Cookie guy being a big deal in BYU/Sitake but Min Kim is the bigger deal here
Nutricost owner who is helping pay to *hopefully* keep Sitake in Provo
I’m told that “once church approves” ‘Donors’ can pay coaches salary and once do, they’ll allow Min to do it.
Min already helps pay BYU football players salaries. He helped BYU land Dybantsa
