Why Nobody is talking about the rising PARKING MAFIA in India ??
🚉 Drop someone at the railway station? ₹200 for 8 mins of pickup & Drop.. which is very difficult especially in evening and morning on railway stations like New Delhi or Anand Vihar.
Few times it go over ₹500 for parking.( Like seriously)
🛕 Around many temples in places like Vrindavan, you're expected to pay ₹100 or more just to park. Even if you're simply waiting for someone inside your car, you're often told to leave immediately—and not very politely.
The issue isn't ₹100 or ₹200.
The issue is the complete lack of reasonable standards, transparency, and accountability.
Parking should be a public convenience, not a licence to overcharge people every chance you get.
India needs fair pricing, clearly displayed rates, proper regulation, and strict action against exploitative practices.
Because the day stopping your car becomes someone's business model — we've all already lost.
