It’s awesome to see what the machine can see! Even with some occlusion, the system can do the work. What’s the capabilities of the other perception systems out there. Should we keep the windshield area ahead of the camera clean?
The human-perceived RGB is image 1 and the Tesla AI photon count reconstruction is image 2.
This is why Tesla FSD can see so well at night or through extreme glare.

Headed off-road today in the CT just north of Highland Ca on a trail that appeared to be open. While airing down, a Forest Service jeep stopped and asked what I was up to. I replied, checking out this trail. He replied with, cool, stay safe! About 45 min later I was threatened with fines and impoundment because the trail was closed. So much to learn about using off road trails in SC.
