🥳🚀 ESA's CubeSat Summer School 2024 was a blast! 🚀🥳
🎊 It was an incredible journey of four intense weeks with both online and onsite university students. 👩💻🎉
🌌 Last week marked the grand finale of the school. 🙌 At the beginning of the week, our onsite students attended insightful lectures on cybersecurity and witnessed a fascinating demonstration at the Cyber Safety and Security Operational Centre and Security Cyber Centre of Excellence in ESEC in Redu, Belgium. 💻🛜
📊 Meanwhile, the 30 onsite students teamed up with 12 business students to finalize their business projects on two space missions. 📈🚀
On Thursday, we welcomed 60 online students to Galaxia for the final days. 🤗 Together with the other students, they attended lectures on exciting topics like Space Law and Space Debris. Each student group then presented their business projects for the previously designed CubeSats missions to a jury and received valuable feedback. 📚📡🛰️
Finally, Friday was all about networking! 🤩 Ten companies from the European space industry, including
@AlbaOrbital,
@D_Orbit,
@GomSpaceGroup,
@isis_space, OCCAM,
@OroraTech,
@planetek, S[&]T, Space Applications Services, and
@TechWorksMarine, along with ESA Academy and ESA Human Resources, joined us for industry panels and networking sessions with the students. 🌍🚀
🎓 The day concluded with the distribution of certificates, heartfelt speeches from the students about their summer school experiences, and a closing address from Hugo Marée, the Head of ESA Education. 👩🎓
Congratulations to all people involved in this incredible journey! 🌟✨
