Space X recent IPO has created over 4,400 millionaires among its employees many of whom are the everyday heroes who build the rockets
Welders, technicians, machinists, and launch crew members.
Remarkably, around 400 of them now hold stakes worth more than $100 million each.
For context, Google and Facebook’s IPOs together created roughly 2,000 millionaires. SpaceX has done more than double that in a single event.
This is a powerful example of how capitalism rewards shared ownership and hard work. When employees are given equity, they become true partners in the company’s success turning dedication into life-changing wealth.
Stories like Juan Hernandez, a welder who contributed with his hands, remind us of the real impact.
A strong reminder for all of us building in tech and beyond: equity matters.
