We are looking for a technical team leader to manage our fantastic team of technicians who support the teaching and research laboratories for Biosciences, Pharmacy, Medicine and Neurosciences! The ideal candidate will be required to provide day-to-day management of the team and will undertake duties such as below: - Leading and Engendering a positive team working atmosphere - Coaching and Mentoring colleagues within the team - Organizing and allocating team workload - Providing guidance on career development - Managing and controlling a budget within set targets - Providing Health and Safety advice - Liaising with key stakeholders such as Heads of Schools, Programme Directors, Estates, Health and Safety and more - Providing support to teaching and research facilities The successful candidate will need to hold a degree in Biosciences, Chemistry or equivalent, and will need to have experience of working in laboratories.
