Earlier this year, I was pretty ready to be done teaching.
That has since changed. The difference is that, though the problems still exist, I've also become intentional about noticing the good.
If you want to give it a shot, here's a challenge for March.

3 - Identify things you're proud of as a teacher.
6 - Write down what you appreciate about a few students.
7 - List a few qualities of your favorite lesson to teach.
8 - Reach out to a mentor and thank them.
9 - Swap an activity with one that brings you joy.
10 - Notice the laughter that happens around you.
13 - Choose a few students to thank for something.
14 - Write down times where someone helps you.
15 - Think of three students who have shown improvement.
16 - Notice an annoyance and release it.
17 - Compliment students as they enter.
20 - Notice and thank focused students.
21 - Send an encouraging message to a colleague.
22 - Identify high-quality work from students.
23 - Identify a part of your day where you felt confident.
24 - Ask colleagues what the best part of their week was.
27 - Notice things about your school you like.
