NEW: A source familiar with the situation tells me it seems likely Lee Zeldin will be tapped for AG. Dave Foutouhi, the Deputy EPA administrator, is a likely replacement for Zeldin. The source adds that Zeldin was at the White House on Tuesday to meet with Trump about wildfire response the conversation about replacing Bondi ended up coming up. Since, the atmosphere with in the EPA has seemed aware that Zeldin might be leaving soon. Colleagues have privately been discussing it amongst themselves.
