1 - I totally agree with you. In some other countries, people have the option to choose how much ethanol they want in their fuel, and the price varies accordingly. In India, however, consumers don't have that choice, and fuel prices are not adjusted based on the ethanol content. If the government is blending 20% ethanol into fuel, then, in theory, the price should decrease to reflect the lower proportion of petrol. However, that doesn't seem to be happening. 2- Insurance companies are rejecting claims related to ethanol-related damage. 3- Cars manufactured before 2023 were not designed to run on higher ethanol blends. We just bringing police with out proper research and home work !

You are absolutely right! Imposing E20 petrol nationwide without giving citizens the option of pure petrol raises serious concerns. A policy affecting millions of vehicle owners should come with transparency, choice, and proper consideration of long-term impacts on engines, maintenance costs, and consumer rights… We feel like unwilling participants in a massive experiment, with no alternative and no say in the matter… A progressive policy should empower citizens with informed choices, not leave them feeling helpless!!! @nitin_gadkari @PMOIndia @narendramodi

Although I have no political affiliation to any party, but I am really glad and would thank you for raising this issue. The implementation of this Ethanol blending policy has not taken into consideration the issues being faced by existing car owners whatsoever. This is outrightly wrong !
