As schools in Karnataka reopen tomorrow for the academic year 2026–27, Adamya Chetana begins another year of its Midday Meal programme. The 23-year journey of this initiative has been exciting. What began in Bengaluru in 2003 with 10,000 children across 57 schools has today grown to 4 kitchens, serving 1,65,000 children daily across nearly 1,097 schools.
