⚠ We're currently investigating an issue making and receiving calls, including calls to 000, on older Apple devices. We're working on this as a priority with Apple and will share updates as we have them. (1/2)
⚠ UPDATE Apple has released a carrier settings update to fix this issue. To install the update, follow these instructions: 📷 Connect your impacted iPhone to Wi-Fi 📷 Accept the carrier settings update by tapping “OK” (1/2) 👉🏻
👉🏻 Confirm the update installed by going to Settings > General > About and make sure it says “Telstra 54.1” next to Service Provider If the Service Provider version does not show “Telstra 54.1” check you’re connected to Wi-Fi and repeat the steps above. (2/2)
⚠ UPDATE: Apple has paused software updates released this week for some older iPhone models while they investigate. These include iOS 18.7.4, iOS 16.7.13, iOS 15.8.6, iOS 12.5.8.
⚠ UPDATE: Calls to 000 will automatically connect on an alternative mobile network if one is available. It can take some time (e.g. one minute) for the impacted device to connect to the alternative mobile network when one is available.
We recommend customers using these devices delay updating the software on their device until we confirm the issue is resolved.
