Overall, Solana memecoins still look like the strongest sector in the market right now
There haven't been any standout new launches lately, but several older plays are still holding solid structures and remain worth watching
Let's do a quick recap
1.
$MERLIN
CA : AvxFBjWydMYWD7C8pHzSkGxNYAFWr7aNBbAKm84bpump
$MERLIN is a memecoin inspired by a real duck named Merlin from Mexico City
The duck became internet-famous after appearing in viral videos with its owner, Karla, selling drinks on the streets while wearing a green Mexico national team jersey. The wholesome and recognizable image helped it gain millions of views and eventually inspired this token
That said, after looking deeper into the project, I currently see it as a pure meme play with no meaningful utility attached
In my opinion, one thing that could significantly strengthen the narrative would be implementing a fee donation mechanism that directly supports Merlin's owner. That would create a stronger emotional connection and give the community a more compelling reason to stay engaged long term
From a marketing perspective, the token has received mentions from notable accounts such as
@Cryptocurb and
@Kkashi_yt. However, beyond those names, most of the support appears to come from tier-2 KOLs, and I haven't seen many major players actively pushing it
Another factor worth noting is that the bundle percentage is still sitting around 60% and the wallet clusters are relatively large as well, while most of the larger KOLs who previously talked about the project appear to have already exited their positions
Because of that, I think risk management is especially important here
My current plan :
> For high-risk traders willing to gamble, I'd be interested around the 800K - 900K range
> For a safer entry, I'd rather wait for the 300K - 400K area
Of course, these are only reference zones. Memecoins like this are heavily dependent on narrative strength, virality, community engagement, and future updates from the project
As always, DYOR before entering any position
