Scott Jennings wrote this on the afternoon of January 6, 2021. Back when he was a real patriot. “This is literally an insurrection. “President Donald Trump caused this insurrection with his lies and conspiracy theories about the election process being rigged against him. It was not stolen, but this madness was fomented by the President and his top advisers over the past several months.” “Let me be clear: These rioters are not Republicans. These are not conservatives. These are not patriots bursting into the US Capitol, accosting police officers and destroying public property. “These are domestic terrorists, and they ought to be treated like any other terrorist uprising with the full force and fury of the US government.”

Jennings: Why would they be upset? Because they've never they've never been able to stand the fact that Trump won… Phillip: How about congress established The Kennedy Center as a memorial for Kennedy and it is illegal for him to slap his name on it? Jennings: He took an interest in this— Phillip: What about the law? Jennings: What about it?

When your devotion to one man destroys your loyalty to your country and its laws. For many in MAGA, Trump is the law. And that is fundamentally un-American.
WATCH — @abbydphillip: “What about the law, Scott?” @ScottJenningsKY: “What about it? Who cares?” 🤔 Refreshing honesty from the smuggest man in the world. The law does not matter to them.

Republicans now shy away from audits, recounts & lawsuits based upon actual evidence instead of Fox news narratives, because those efforts only prove that 1) actual voter fraud is very small scale and negligible and 2) most of the actual voter fraud is committed by Republicans.

Amazing to see Israel and Iran agree here. Trump is incredible. Literally.
BREAKING: Iran directly rejects Trump's new claim that he reached an agreement to "cancel tonight's strikes" on Iran as "baseless," saying no agreement has been approved at all, and all of Trump's words should be disregarded like all his previous "38 times" deal-imminent announcements over two months, per Tasnim. A senior Israeli official also tells Channel 12 they are "not aware of any agreement being reached," per N12.

It’s not about arguments. It’s about facts. I know one great fact about American elections, and I know it because the Republican Party has proved it to me: There is no election fraud of any consequence anywhere in the United States. The Republican Party and its allies, FOR DECADES, have been searching high and low, in every corner of our country, for evidence of election fraud. This effort has been made with vast sums of money and other resources, and with some of the greatest powers in our nation at the party’s disposal: A presidential commission under President Donald Trump. The Department of Justice under President Donald Trump, armed with the resources of the FBI, and the powers of subpoena. Committees of Congress under Republican control, also armed with the powers of subpoena and the investigative resources of the first branch of government. State legislatures under Republican control, also with subpoena powers, have launched similar efforts to find evidence of election fraud. Republican-controlled states have set up special commissions and task forces, some with subpoena powers, all well-funded and with access to the state’s electoral systems. Conservative academics and think tanks have launched projects seeking out evidence of election fraud. Fox News and the rest of MAGA media have dedicated significant resources to finding evidence of election fraud. What is the result of this enormous Republican effort to find election fraud? Ask The Heritage Foundation. For nearly a decade, Heritage has maintained an “Election Fraud Database.” The database contains “proven instances of election fraud.” It covers elections going back nearly fifty years. That’s billions and billions of American votes. Right now, the total number of proven instances of election fraud that Heritage can document is: 1620. That’s an infinitesimal number, vanishingly small, and it is solid proof of two things: 1. Some individuals commit election fraud. 2. There is no evidence at all of systemic or even widespread election fraud anywhere in the USA. The election-fraud panic is the Big Lie of our time. It is peddled by people who know better. Their own investigations over decades demonstrate that. Stop trying to subvert our democracy. 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸

Whenever election fraud enters the news, libs seek out the worst arguments and mock them. Instead of the straw men, why not seek a steel man argument? Because when your tribal mind is made up, you're not interested in the steel man.

This guy’s a leader of the rigged-elections camp. Admits he can’t prove anything. Says it doesn’t matter. Because the “structure” allows “fraud that cannot be detected.” Can I prove the moon is made of cheese? No. But that is part of my proof that the moon is made of cheese.
Bret Weinstein cuts straight to the chase: "We are going to have an endless battle in which those of us who see what we believe is clear evidence of some kind of election rigging or fraud are faced with indignation from a vast array of people portraying themselves as more rigorous and careful who say, 'Where is your evidence? Where exactly is your evidence that there was something wrong with this election?' And we are gonna be caught in the following predicament. No piece of evidence is sufficient to establish that case. And the sum total of all of the evidence contains true things and false things. So it is also no good. So the question is, can you logically deduce that something has gone wrong? I believe you can easily. Can you prove it? No. And not being able to prove it means that the election will proceed. It will be validated by all of the structures, including the courts. And that means that those who take on the power that derives from these elections will be the result of whatever process we just went through, whether it was an election that happened to be anomalous through organic means, or it was the result of some kind of fraud or election rigging. That is not an accident. That is not an accident. And the point that I wanna make primarily is the primary evidence against elections that look like this being organic is not actually in the trickle of evidence that we are actually able to see, the moment by moment vote count that does something strange during the night when some large tranche of ballots is suddenly counted or something like that. The evidence is in the structure of how the elections are actually carried out. These elections are designed to allow fraud that cannot be detected and will not be prosecuted. And that's really the thing that we must focus on." @BretWeinstein

Netanyahu has lost for Israel the support of most of the American people. Gone in the slaughter and ruins of Gaza. Gone in Israel’s campaign of mass death, widespread displacement, hunger, destruction of homes, hospitals, schools, and the social fabric of an entire people.
For the first time in two decades of polling, more Americans sympathize with Palestinians (41%) than Israelis (36%), a reversal from 55% to 26% in Israel’s favor before to the October 7th attacks. Even 57% of Republicans aged 18 to 49 now disfavor Israel.trib.al/dcUq28Q

He doesn’t even know the allegations—which are not evidence. In our country, we resolve these disputes in courts of law, where rules of evidence developed over centuries discern fact from fiction, truth from BS. All the GOP claims die under that scrutiny. Every single time.

Doesn’t anyone notice that they only cry “voter fraud” and claim the system is rigged…when Republicans lose? And why has there never been an allegation of widespread systemic fraud that can withstand the rigor of the rules of evidence in a court of law?

We are ten years into allegations of widespread election fraud - only for elections Trump or republicans lose, mind you - for which Trump and allies have either not produced evidence, or claimed evidence which was subsequently debunked. And blatant contradictions - such as celebrating wins under the same laws and practices while confidently declaring theft for any losses - are now the norm.
Speaker Johnson, like Trump, sowing doubts on CA results. I asked him about any evidence to back up their claims “Some of these efforts are so diabolical and so far upstream it is impossible to prove,” he said. “But think everybody knows instinctively something is wrong here.”

When Trump says “deal,” what he means is a “Memorandum of Understanding”—a framework for future negotiations. So basically, these talks are about the next round of talks. Iran is demanding money; $12 billion in assets unfrozen now. Another $12B later. (Obama released $1.2B.) Off the table—limiting Iran’s missile programs, and ending its support for proxies in the region. Plus—Iran holds an ace: The Strait of Hormuz. Trump’s holding a weaker hand. And you can hear it in his voice. When he talks about his war 100 days in, it’s clear that it’s a chore for him. He knows he’s blundered and just wants out. Then he’ll call it the greatest victory since Bunker Hill or something. Give himself a parade. x.com/atrupar/status/2064322…
