Update #Dunwoody at 6 am Mon 6/15/26: Power outage remains in Village Mill / Vermack Rd area where a tree and power lines were downed last night and blocked Vermack Rd. No restoration ETA published yet by GA Power. No other power outages appear this morning.

After nearly 20 years of advocacy, Sandy Springs is officially recognized as the default mailing city name for most local ZIP—with the exception of 30092.
“As we celebrated 20 years of incorporation, gaining this recognition from USPS is a meaningful milestone for our community,” said Mayor Rusty Paul.
Updates to the USPS system will roll out over the next few weeks.

UPDATE #Dunwoody: In Dec 2025, this property was sold to AKDM23 LLC. At the city's permit portal, I now see owner name listed as "AKDM23 LLC DBA: DUNWOODY WORLD OF BEVERAGES." The LLC is also the owner of Pop's Wine and Spirits in Suwanee. Thus, is still to be a liquor store, but under a different name.
In prior posts and replies, I noted this parcel at 4621 N. Shallowford Rd (previously Walgreens and Eckerd) was to be a liquor store based on permits issued to liquor store "Strong Water" that dated back to 2021.
