Someday this car will have a chapter in history books. It's FULLY electric, but has a mode that fully imitates a gas car:
- Adds engine sound
- Simulates the Elantra N transmission
- Paddle shifts through gears
- Briefly clips power to FEEL "gear shifts"
- Can "redline"
- Literally goes slower because of all of this
- Is fun as hell anyway

Newest PCB’s came in today for the TesMuffler [OBD-2 / CAN Bus] Hardware Dongles.
We will be doing the initial assembly in-house to make sure any DIY person can build these open source boards.

🧵 A few years ago I noticed that the audio quality of the in-car @Spotify app for @Tesla left a lot to be desired & so I performed some tests to see what bitrate the app was using. The test results were surprising and confirmed that @Tesla had limited the bitrate to 96 Kbps.
