The #Artemis I mission to the Moon has been postponed. Teams attempted to fix an issue related to a leak in the hardware transferring fuel into the rocket, but were unsuccessful. Join NASA leaders later today for a news conference. Check for updates: youtu.be/JWAA5P-iFJs
ALT The Space Launch System rocket sits on the launch pad. In the background, the sun rises behind clouds. Green bushes sit in the foreground.
Long-term closure: The Westinghouse Road bridge at I-35 will be closed for several weeks for planned repairs. The turnaround bridge remains open. Plan ahead! #BeSafeDriveSmart#My35#ATXtraffic
I feel strong emotions when two competitors of vastly different backgrounds work together for good in some way. It feels like a taste of what I hope heaven is.
This made me very happy and a bit quiver-lipped.

Today’s the day. Trip to Mars, 99.9% complete. The most dangerous part comes last: the final seven minutes.
Watch my landing live starting at 11:15 a.m. PST / 2:15 p.m. EST / 19:15 UTC. #CountdownToMarsx.com/i/events/1360292319782…
A preview of what’s to come in just a couple of hours. Once I get this part behind me, I’ll finally be able to get to work. Can’t wait. #CountdownToMars
I am going to do that save them to make the last one. That's a good idea. We still have them here, but at the school my kids attend they have not been that big. (They are still only single flowers, ~6 inches across.)
No joke! I hated them but had one every year since 5th grade. My mom was creative and saved them all and made my senior year one with ribbons and decor from every one. That one was the best.
Do you want something fun to do THIS Saturday?
Sign up for a Virtual Campout. These are great fun and you learn stuff too. (We have done about 8 of them and learn something new every time, different topics at every campout)
*FYI: You don't have to be a kid/have a kid to attend!!!
#LastChance: Hear from #Apollo13 astronaut Fred Haise in our next Virtual Campout this Saturday! Create a model of the moon, make a moon rock & design a lunar lander. Use household materials to make science come to life. Pay what you can & sign up today: spacecenter.org/virtual-camp…
Made my own Spectroscope at the virtual campout with Space Center Houston. Going to look at lots of stuff to sww what it's made of. #SpaceCenterHOUinstagram.com/p/CIuLEPTFo-k/…
Dennis Vazquez via Facebook: He took these pictures of the collapse of the Arecibo Observatory. You can see the debris and the remains of the platform and the Gregorian Dome.
