A winter storm is coming, and our Soldiers are staged to keep Texas safe. This is the heart of the Citizen-Soldier mission: serving the very communities where you live and work.

Personnel and specialized rescue equipment are now positioned across the state in anticipation of Winter Storm Fern. Members of the Texas Army and Air National Guard, along with the State Guard, are operating in coordination with local and state emergency agencies to ensure a rapid response.
The Texas Military Department remains prepared to support community safety throughout the duration of this weather event.
