Kitten Update 2:
The wife and daughter, rather than choosing a new name, modified the name. It went from Topo Gigio to Topo Gigi. As Topo Gigio in Italian translates to Mouse Lewis and the cat is a girl, they opted for Topo Gigi.
I fed it at 4am and it woke at 6:30am for more.
