It has everything to do with it because every time Tech is accused of something, I can just look it up and find the SEC or B1G schools doing the exact same thing and no one gave a fuck. So if not the double standard then.. the culture. Which is also bad!!!
What does a team being good or bad have to do with this? The issue is a player affecting the performance of their team for monetary gain or betting with inside information.

I think jumping ship to other conferences for clear monetary gain effectively destroying one conference and setting two others up for failure in the process is pretty detestable too. The NCAA and the two talking about what’s “good” and caring about the integrity of sport.

Michigan actually cheating their way to a Natty is somehow less egregious than bets on games he didn’t play in… as a redshirt 3rd string, for a REALLY bad football team that NCAA (sponsored by betting sites) determined didn’t impact the game integrity. I just don’t care 🥱

Rewatching…and in the 5th after UCLA center and left outfield collided, center asked her if she was okay and it looks like left said “no, you hit me”. They struggled the rest of the game especially left outfield. Bad vibes. How do you not just let it go?

I know it didn’t work very well at times this game, but the Nija/KT combo is just insane. If KT finished the game, Nija would have likely felt on shaky ground a bit. Her getting the strikeout W is the perfect amount of balance needed to give these girls the confidence.
