Fair! But, #athletics have twice as many games as the nearest comp on here, including weekday series against, say, Tampa Bay in August! Tough sell!
Based on the sustained crowds for the Golden Knights 9 years, Raiders 6 years, Aces 8 years and the 43 years of AAA baseball plus the recent 6 game home stand for the Athletics. I would lean towards the crowds lasting longer than a honeymoon.

Will #athletics baseball succeed in Vegas beyond the 2028-30 honeymoon? Who knows. But, the A's did as good a job as they could here over the past week. Great fan engagement at games/tons of community work. Anecdotal, but locals saw my gear out/about and talked my ear off [1/3]

Feels more like a novelty that Sacramento fans feel about the A's right now. That's not a bad thing, but it's clear #athletics need to keep their foot on the pedal. The lockout will keep active players from participating, so maybe an offseason caravan thru Nevada with A's alumni?

If you still get down with #athletics, I recommend you come thru next year. Las Vegas Ballpark is tremendous with phenomenal food and friendly staff. The A's did a wonderful job this week both in the stands and in the community
