I loved Sword & Shield. Yes the graphics were a let down in places but I feel like the art style really worked for it. It was more advanced while still having a creative flair rather than aiming for hyper realism. Probably the modern Pokémon I've replayed the most.
We all know alola looks great but highkey, Galar was the last time pokemon really LOOKED like pokemon Y’know?
The half-assed “realism”scarlet and violet went for looks worse everytime I see it, but I still find Swsh really nice to look at
