Random elf is not Boromir. B's death mattered not because he took 6 arrows, but because he was tempted by the Ring, shook it off, and then nobly gave his life to atone-but still failed. Aragorn gave him absolution and grace. TRoP Morons fundamentally misunderstand everything.

It's worth noting that the page on this dude's "university's" website re: studying Tolkien specifically references the PJ LotR films and The Hobbit movies contributing to growth in JRRT scholarship. It does NOT mention TRoP in that capacity...or at all that I could find.

This dude runs a "university" that teaches, among other things, "Tolkien Studies." Unsure how to teach that without canon, I reviewed all course listings and their required texts. There's enough overlap class-to-class that it sure FEELS like they have an accepted canon...
