Google Analytics Utilities update! You can now modify BQ links and list/modify event edit rules. I'm also building out some Cloud functions that operate off of a CSV file. That isn't fully built, but you'll see some code has been added. github.com/google/google-ana…

I'm back and updating Google Analytics Utilities! With the deprecation of UA, all UA functionality has been removed. While this is bittersweet, it does make the spreadsheet a bit more manageable. The menu has been simplified to reflect the changes. github.com/google/google-ana…

The sheets have also been arranged to more or less follow the same order as the menu. I've also added a calculated metrics sheet and fixed a bunch of bugs that people found while I was on leave.

Hey folks, I have an update for Google Analytics Utilities! You can now use the tool to create subproperties and roll-up properties. If you have a need to create a lot of subproperties, GA Utilities can now help!

Big update for the GA4 GTM Migration tool! I've rebuilt the tool to work with the configuration and event settings variables and Google Tag. Version 2.0 allows you to create the above to migrate UA tags to GA4.

Another Analytics Settings Database update! I've updated the "health_settings" table to now be the "property_overview" table and included two different ways of getting that table, a scheduled query or a cloud function workflow. github.com/google/analytics-…

The main downloader function also no longer uses streaming insert and instead imports data from temporary json files. This should make the data more immediately available and make automation based on new data in the tables easier.

I updated the Analytics Settings Database to include basically everything that the #GA4 Admin API interacts with. It should now be possible to use a gen 2 Google Cloud Function instead of gen 1 for this solution. Let me know if you run into any bugs!

Another tool update! This time for GA4 GTM Utilities. This includes various bug fixes and the introduction of the "Variable Usage" sheet. You can now list your variables and determine which tags, triggers, and variables use said variable.

The variable usage feature looks at all tags in a workspace, not just GA4 event tags. It could be useful when trying to figure out which variables are used where in a workspace. Please let me know if you experience bugs!
