This is my dynamic with my kids.

Online services that set auto renewal as default are such a fricken scam. Your credit card expiring doesn't even save you from the phantom charges if you don't notice them, because half of them have agreements with card services to get the new expiry info. PAY ATTENTION. If you're ADHD/ASD like me, it is so easy to forget this crap. But I did the math, I have lost over 5k to these unused services in the last several years. So be aware, be vigilant. (I say this while on hold with Wix who I am trying to get to refund me a $487 charge for a dormant unused service.)

AH CRAP. I'm their target demographic now.

Ever notice how almost all tweets that begin with 'friendly reminder' are rarely ever friendly and usually passive aggressive AF? I know I am guilty of it.

Today my son told me he was scared because he didn't want me to be worried about him. "I'm not scared for me, I'm scared for you." It broke my heart. I told him it's part of the job of being a parent, it's part of loving your kids. I asked him to let me do my job. "I need some job security kid, threatening to take over my tasks. You're almost as bad as AI." He snorted. Sometimes I forget that being a kid who loves their parent can be just as tough, if not more in some ways. The powerlessness is heavier.

5 years ago today I became a vtuber. I'm spending the day at the children's hospital. It's been a long bumpy road. But we're not done yet.

Tomorrow I am doing one of the scariest things I have ever had to do. And I am not sure how to get through it.

My dogs are absolute menaces. Whenever my kids try to print out their homework it is a mad dash to the printer. Because if we DON'T get there fast enough... Well, they will protect this house at all costs. ...even if that cost is more paper and ink.

I don't get to stream much. Stream was going well, lots of people showed up. I was having fun. The collab was about to start. But my kid started messaging me frantically through discord. So I stopped. Because no matter what, when they need me, I will always drop everything. Being a streamer when you have multiple high-needs children is really difficult. I am thankful for everyone who has stuck by me through the years despite my nearly constant hiatus. It means the world to me, truly. Especially since you can respect above all else that I will always be a mom first.

I see more anti-'the gays' folk making posts about Pride than 'the gays' do. It's hi-larious. 'DON'T SHOVE YOUR LIFESTYLE IN MY FACE' *proceeds to make all the tweets about said lifestyles.* One day there is going to be an entire college class dedicated to studying this.

We live in an age where everyone feels obligated to document everything. But I don't like living life through a lens. I prefer to be present. Sometimes I feel like a bad mom for not constantly taking pictures and videos. But I don't know.

Dammit. I really am starting to dislike music that is made by people that are my kids age. ...I am old. It's happening. The transformation has begun. Next stop, blaming their squishy toy addiction as to why they can't afford anything. Noooooo.
