Every village deserves its pub — a place where neighbours meet, friendships grow, and traditions live on. But without action on excise duty, many of these hubs face closure. Losing them means losing part of Ireland’s social fabric.
Without decisive action in the forthcoming Budget, countless local pubs will close their doors — leaving lasting damage to Ireland’s social and economic landscape. We urge the Government to reduce excise duty and give these essential community hubs a chance to survive.
