Grounding techniques like this one can help us when weāre feeling out of touch with our body and surroundings. They can help us reconnect to the present moment.

Most people wonāt say it out loud.
That theyāre tired. Drowning. Numb.
Not because they donāt want help but because they stopped expecting anyone to listen. Thatās why we built A Thing.
New official data from the NHS has been released, providing England's national statistics for mental health conditions and treatment access.

In a world rushing to the next task,
some thoughts never get heard.
A Thing was built for the ones that slip through the cracks the ones that deserve more than silence.
Because everyone deserves to be heard.

People carry so much in silence. Names. Memories. Worries they never unpack. There should be a place where that silence feels less heavyā¦.. Thatās the kind of thing this is.
āThey didnāt plan it.ā
āThey didnāt research it.ā
āThey just built a thing.ā
Exactly.
Because sometimes you donāt need a million meetings to know people are hurting. You just need to give them a place to say it.
And thatās what we did.
Iām fineā is the biggest lie most of us tell.
Not because we want to lie but because itās easier than explaining the storm inside.
Thatās why we made A Thing. So you can actually say how youāre doing, without fear.
This isnāt just policy itās people. When you strip support, you donāt just take away benefits. You take away safety. Stability. Sanity. We stand with the disabled community. š
Today, the UK government published a bill, aimed at reforming the benefits system. As it stands, this will be a disaster for disabled people ā and is likely to worsen peopleās living conditions and their mental health.
