It’s been incredible getting to work with such brilliant researchers from two very different fields on this paper, who have both shaped my thinking in such significant ways, and to be honest it’s just by far the most joy I’ve had working on something ever.

As a woman I would be at greater risk of dying at the hand of my partner* than by smoke or not wearing a seatbelt. Those things less likely to kill me are seen as public health emergencies. The thing more likely to kill me isn’t however. Coz it only affects women. Go figure 🙄
