In 2023 we ventured into @solana, how did we do? 👇 ⦿ Launched our upgraded 1/1 DAO Art collection with @Zen0 on @ExchangeArt raising $125k for the DAO Treasury while $SOL was at ~$12 🔥 ⦿ Won and Sponsored Solana Hackathons (S/O @LamportDAO for hosting) 🏆 ⦿ Collected art from @johnle, @archmorley, @zen0, @Delux3_Art, @EV3RETH and many more 🎨 ⦿ Onboarded @DrakoSolana, @SuperteamUK, @FunZNFT to use our DAO-built web3 loyalty Boobot 🤖 ⦿ Collaborated with @TimeThiefNFT to create physical collectibles of our BOOs 👻 ⦿ Secured lot's of NFT presales and token airdrops thanks to our alpha hunters @crypto_keiss @nearmikeuponly @MuvDelay @SirBertoli @0_s1mple_0 @Himlotuss @Sharkfin216 @not_CY_ 💰 ⦿ Airdropped 1 Billion $BONK to the Solana community in our Boobot raffles 🐕 ⦿ Acquired two $NEAR projects with long run intentions of bringing their value to $SOL cc: @NearFutureNFT @NewsOcean_ 📈 ⦿ Brought together top web3 projects in our Twitter Spaces series with @NEARBigBrain and @CapInUK 🤝 ⦿ Featured in @FOMOmagazine for Breakpoint Edition 🔖 ⦿ First BOO IRL meetup at @SolanaConf in Amsterdam 🎉 ⦿ Matured our BOO Brand, Vision, Mission and Values with @Flight3official 👾 But it wasn’t all sunshine and rainbows, here are some of our failures 🫳 ⦿ Saw C-Suite fall from 4 members to 2 members after web3 burnout and web2 full-time roles stole them away 🥹 ⦿ Lost momentum after 5 months of successful auctions in the depths of the bear market 🥵 ⦿ Failed to relight momentum at Berlin @Hackerhouses by selling our physical collectibles after DPD rugged the delivery (S/O to @oyacaro for bringing them to Breakpoint for us) 🚚❌ ⦿ Never finalised our collaboration with @embroidery_boy for a DAO merch package 💔 ⦿ Lacked simple infrastructure for onboarding new members even though we had established a reputation of being organised 🙃 ⦿ Weekly DAO calls got shifted to monthly DAO calls which only actually happened every other month 😅 So as expected for any project the year had it's ups & downs, but nevertheless we're proud of what we were able to achieve ❤️‍🔥 With all that said what is planned for 2024? Well Krato said it simply and best... “Be Better” ⦿ Focus on providing value to @solana ecosystem ⦿ Create BOO success stories for the builders & artists we've stood up for as the Medici Family of Web3 ⦿ More DAO communication and transparency on treasury thanks to @multisig ⦿ Expand BOO IP to be built by community as a true DAO-driven IP, and collaborate with key Solana teams to bring it to life No longer will BOOs hide behind in the shadows, 2024 is the year we shine 🐉
