My feelings on the politics that we saw yesterday can be best expressed by this quote. Folks were silent. Racism continues to be on the ballot and folks are not speaking out against it either publicly with their worlds or silently through their vote. The complicity is clear.

Lorne Michaels speech at the #Emmys demonstrated white male privilege. He didn't even acknowledge his other nominee and then just droned on. Once again showing why certain spaces will never open up and how supremacy can be maintained because you choose to ignore the "other".
