6/10/26 Many Americans, especially those on the political left, won't agree with this, but here it is: The United States has already provided Ukraine with more than $130 billion in military and financial aid. At some point, enough is enough. It's time to stop writing the checks and let Europe take the lead. Ukraine is on Europe's doorstep, not ours. If European leaders believe Ukraine's defense is vital to their security, then they should be providing the majority of the weapons, funding, and humanitarian support. At the same time, some European nations have been unwilling to fully support U.S. efforts against Iran, restricting access to bases, airspace, and other strategic assets. Yet they continue to expect the United States to shoulder the burden of global security. Europe's leaders have spent years creating many of their own challenges, including in some cases letting the radical Islamic Muslims to take over their countries and now expect American taxpayers to help solve them. The era of unlimited U.S. support should come to an end. America's focus should be on America's interests. Right now, Iran poses a direct threat to U.S. forces, allies, and global stability. That should be our priority. Europe can take care of Europe. Ukraine can take care of Ukraine. America needs to focus on America.

I am, and always have been, a staunch supporter of President Trump. I supported the United States bombing Iran and, quite frankly, believe it was 47 years overdue. With that said, for the first time, I find myself in disagreement with the President. Instead of spending time trying to negotiate with the Iranian government, a regime that cannot be trusted and has a long history of breaking agreements, we should recognize the reality of the situation. While a deal may eventually be reached, it will not be worth the paper it is written on. For 47 years, the Iranian regime has bullied its neighbors, destabilized the region, and oppressed many of its own people. Lasting peace and security can only come with the end of the current regime and the dismantling of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC). The IRGC should be completely eliminated, Iran’s ability to fund regional aggression through its oil infrastructure should be destroyed, and the leadership responsible for these actions should be exterminated. Unfortunately, any military conflict carries the risk of civilian casualties, a reality that no one welcomes. Once the threat is removed, attention should turn to securing freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz, clearing any threats to international shipping, and expanding regional peace agreements such as the Abraham Accords. As for Israel and Lebanon, Israel will never be fully secure as long as Hezbollah remains capable of rebuilding and rearming. If the organization is not permanently eliminated, it will likely continue to pose a threat in the future. No one wants to discuss the possibility of nuclear weapons being used, and I certainly do not. However, I believe the United States must do whatever is necessary to ensure that Iran never becomes a nuclear threat and that the conflict is brought to a decisive conclusion, which includes the extermination of the entire government that is presently in power and the IRGC.
