One Nation’s “Fire the Liar” Raises $2.5M in Less Than 2 Days as Labor’s Lies Continue to Multiply by @rod_lampard [Commentary] One Nation has thrown back Labor’s fight-the-far-right clown hat. Responding to a “Stop One Nation” fundraiser, the party quickly counterpunched with a “Stop Labor. Fire the Liar” fundraiser of their own. What happened next was a masterstroke of political genius. One Nation gave Australians the power to hit a hard return-to-sender. The party raised over $1.5 million in 24 hours, outstripping Labor’s alleged $9,000 for the same time period. (Some reports suggest upwards of $20,000.) Team Albanese’s “it’s the far-right” fear-mongering didn’t just fail to launch; it blew up in their faces. One Nation’s fundraising had increased to $2.5 million as of 9 pm Thursday. Updating supporters on X, Pauline Hanson thanked people for their donations, stating that Fire the Liar “mobile billboards have already arrived” in the Prime Minister’s Grayndler electorate. “This has been,” the One Nation senator added, “an unprecedented surge in grassroots support from Australians, with the average donation at $59.” The political counter-strike’s timing coincides with a “50 lies” sticker campaign that Albanese’s critics started in Copacabana — the location of the career politician PM’s multi-million-dollar beachside property. Two elections down and plenty of promises, Labor’s delivery is outweighed by 14 failures and an increasingly long list of lies. As it turns out Albo’s “word is not his bond.” Here are 13 verifiable times Labor lied: 1. After declaring a commitment to the LNP’s stage 3 tax cuts, Albo ditched them. 2. Labor walked away from a national reduction of $275 off power bills per household. This is despite Albo promising on 90-plus occasions that a vote for Labor was a vote for cheaper energy. 3. Albo also promised that “all you need is a Medicare card, not a credit card,” to see a doctor. Yet, out-of-pocket doctor bills increased, while bulk billing decreased. 4. Labor denied knowing about how corrupt militant unions such as the CFMEU were, even though Albo and the upper echelon had been warned about the organisations’ behaviour since 2014. 5. Budget 2026 backflips on promises not to touch negative gearing and capital gains taxation. Albanese repeatedly told reporters in 2025 that Labor had no intention of tampering with the system. 6. The same applies to superannuation. Labor promised no new taxes, then wacked a 30% tax on balances over $3 million. 7. Cost of living salvation deflated by government-induced inflation. Families are worse off under Labor, contradicting Albo’s core election promises. 8. By boosting collective bargaining under the “Secure Jobs, Better Pay Act 2022,” the Albanese government reneged on a commitment to protect the employee/employer relationship. 9. Labor abandoned protections for whistleblowers and Albanese’s promise to establish better government transparency. Illustrating this backflip is the failed push to make access to Freedom of Information harder. 10. Albo reintroduced the Cashless Debit Card system (albeit in a different form) after repeatedly virtue-signalling during the election about ending the program’s “paternalism.” The system was reintroduced following protests about rising crime in vulnerable communities. 11. Labor talked big about creating an Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) then quietly scuttled the plan. This was thanks to pressure from within. Specifically, Labor’s Western Australian Premier, Roger Cook. He had concerns about potential hits to government revenue from mining. 12. Housing and immigration made the list because it is one of the most blatant examples of Labor’s lies. Forgoing yet another nation-saving election commitment, Labor has neither reduced immigration nor increased housing availability. This includes a massive decrease in housing affordability. 13. Probably the second most alarming is Labor’s flip-flopping over Australia’s national defence. Gaps exist in operational readiness and capability thanks to funding cuts that Team Albo said Labor would never make. To quote Australia’s most loved 90’s telemarketer, Tim Shaw, “but wait, there’s more!” Albanese fired back at Hanson through journalists, suggesting that the fundraising totals were fake. He questioned the numbers, twice saying, “Did she, though?” When talking to reporters, the PM, skittish, dismissed the fundraiser as having no substance and being an “example of slogans,” implying that they were designed to feed a media frenzy. So, One Nation did an independent audit, published the results on X, then used it to shoot down the accusations. Hanson: one. Albo: none. As Hanson wrote, “Albo claims the last 24 hours' worth of donations are fake. He’s lying again.” Read this article on The Daily Declaration: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Polling vs Headlines: Why Australians Are More Aligned with One Nation on Abortion Than Media Suggests by George Christensen For years, abortion has largely been treated as a settled issue in Australian politics. Most major political parties preferred not to talk about it. Most journalists assumed the debate was over. Most Australians probably assumed that whatever abortion laws existed in their state were broadly similar to those elsewhere in the country. Then Pauline Hanson’s One Nation walked straight back into the argument. In recent weeks, the party has come under fierce attack for its pro-life policies. Journalists, commentators and political opponents have accused One Nation of trying to roll back abortion rights and import American-style politics into Australia. The backlash has been intense. But amid all the outrage, something important has been missing from the discussion. What exactly is One Nation proposing? And do Australians really disagree with it as strongly as the media claims? Those questions matter because much of the current debate has been built around a simple assumption: that Australians overwhelmingly support abortion and that any attempt to revisit abortion laws is automatically outside the mainstream. Yet when you look beyond the headlines, the picture becomes far more complicated. In fact, on some of the issues now being used to attack One Nation, there is evidence that many Australians may be closer to One Nation’s position than they realise. One Nation’s policy is not a blanket ban on abortion. The party acknowledges that human life begins in the womb and seeks to roll back what it describes as Australia’s most extreme abortion laws. Among other things, it wants to reduce gestational limits, ban sex-selective abortion, provide counselling and support for women considering abortion, protect babies born alive during abortion procedures, restore doctors’ conscience rights, ban the use of organs from aborted babies and improve abortion data reporting. Whether you agree with those proposals or not, they are very different from the caricature often presented in media coverage. The current controversy began because abortion laws in some Australian states allow abortions far later in pregnancy than many people realise. Critics of One Nation argue these laws are necessary and should remain unchanged. One Nation argues they have gone too far. That disagreement is legitimate. It is precisely the kind of issue that should be debated openly in a democracy. Instead, much of the public discussion has focused on portraying One Nation itself as beyond the pale. The assumption underpinning that approach is that Australians overwhelmingly support the existing framework and would reject any attempt to introduce additional safeguards. The polling suggests otherwise. One of the most significant surveys conducted on these issues was carried out by YouGov Galaxy among Queensland voters. The results paint a very different picture from the one usually presented in newspaper headlines. Seventy-six per cent opposed abortion after 23 weeks of pregnancy. Eighty-three per cent opposed sex-selective abortion. Seventy per cent believed babies born alive following a late-term abortion should receive the same medical care as any other premature baby. Eighty-eight per cent supported independent counselling for women considering abortion. Seventy-four per cent supported conscience protections allowing doctors and nurses to refuse participation in abortion procedures. Those are not fringe positions. Nor are they confined to Queensland. God Is Not a Socialist: Biblical and Moral Reasons for Rejecting Socialism by Kris Dhillon [Commentary] Modern socialism/progressivism present themselves as compassionate, enlightened, and morally superior. They promise “equity,” “inclusion,” and “social justice” but beneath the appealing slogans is a worldview that is hostile to God, his created order and his authority. This hostility is often disguised as compassion. Sin is reframed as freedom; rebellion is rebranded as progress and moral confusion as enlightenment. And many Christians, rather than discerning the deception, have embraced it. The tragedy is that many believers today appear to have been discipled more by progressive universities, woke media and activist/political movements than by the Word of God. Many professing Christians support and vote for political parties who openly celebrate what Scripture condemns. Some even stand as candidates for these parties, justifying it by appealing to economics, climate action, welfare programs, or perceived government “compassion.” Then they expect our support because Christians should support Christians, right? No. A profession of faith is not the ultimate test; what they support, enable and refuse to oppose is the test. Read more: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

The Banknotes of Woke Britain by James Macpherson [Commentary] The western world has been overrun by diversity maniacs. We learned last Friday that the Bank of England decided to remove historical figures like Sir Winston Churchill from banknotes after research suggested they were “elitist” and “divisive”. Never mind that without Winston Churchill UK currency would likely feature swastikas. The bank had said it was replacing historical figures with images of wildlife because such images were more difficult to counterfeit. But the UK Telegraph revealed that months prior to the decision, the bank had commissioned research that concluded British heroes such as Churchill were “contentious and not representative of the UK’s cultural and natural diversity”. Feedback found many people felt like featuring Churchill was a form of “imperialistic” boasting. You know, the sort of boast that says: “We fought a defensive war against a genocidal dictatorship and won.” How embarrassing. But it wasn’t just historical figures that researchers warned were problematic. They also cautioned the bank not to replace historical figures with historical buildings in case those buildings were later discovered to have been built with slave labor. So no people, and no buildings. What about environmental landmarks? Nice try… Researchers said featuring the Cliffs of Dover, for example, might be interpreted as a statement about illegal migrants who have turned the spectacular beach into their preferred port of entry. So with historical figures too elitist, historical architecture too problematic and natural landmarks too political, the bank had painted itself into a corner so small it could only be occupied by a committee. Heroes were divisive. Buildings were problematic. Landscapes were political. That left animals. Even then, not just any animals. A carefully curated shortlist of approved creatures: six mammals, six birds and six amphibians, fish and insects. So Great Britain is now a civilisation so bereft of confidence that the only thing it feels brave enough to feature on its money is a frog. The whole thing is nuttier than a pile of squirrel dung. Which is perhaps why squirrels were not listed as an option. Read this article on The Daily Declaration: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Republican Support for Same-Sex Marriage Collapses, Falling Almost 20% since 2022 by Suzanne Bowdey [Commentary] The last three years have been a humbling experience for Pride. What was once an over-the-top rainbow blow-out has been dialled back a stunning degree, thanks to the colossal wave of public pushback. It’s been a sucker-punch for LGBT activists, who’ve been dumbfounded by the complete reversal of fortunes. Corporate sponsorships have dried up, local organisations are filing Chapter 11, red states are going on the offensive with June alternatives, and Republican support for same-sex marriage is in a dizzying freefall. In one of the most dramatic sea changes, millions of Americans are walking away from what Obergefell unleashed on the nation in 2015. According to the latest Gallup poll, just released Wednesday, only 37% of Republicans now say same-sex marriage should be legal — a whopping 18-point drop since 2022 (55%). While Democrats still strongly back the redefinition of marriage at 87%, skeptical Independents and the GOP are driving the country’s numbers down to 65% support overall, 6% lower than 2022 and 2023. In at least 11 states, legislators have even introduced bills to roll back same-sex marriage. While the buyer’s remorse on Obergefell may be the most striking, what the nation is witnessing with this sustained pushback on Pride may be permanently changing the corporate, state, and political landscape. In a lot of major cities — places like New York, Salt Lake, Louisville, St. Louis, Orlando, and Pittsburgh — event organisers are struggling to find the funding to get by. NYC Pride, the largest parade in America, told The Wall Street Journal that it had to cancel some of its parties and slash spending after last year’s wake-up call when longtime partners just vanished. In places like Florida, some organisers are taking a break from their events after so many businesses pulled out. “All of a sudden, bingo. Here you have no money, no grant money, no supporting money, to make operations, to plan, to get any kind of anything,” Carrie West explained to NPR. “Oh my gosh, it was, it’s devastating.” Pittsburgh Pride is expecting to lose up to 60% of its sponsor dollars — but even that pales in comparison to Phoenix Pride, which had to file for bankruptcy after last year’s $350,000 deficit. “Like many Pride organisations and LGBTQ nonprofits across the country, Phoenix Pride has faced mounting financial pressures that threaten our long-term sustainability,” the group admitted. Church and State’s 9th Annual Summit Brings Together Pauline, Patriots & Preachers by @rod_lampard [Commentary] This year’s Church and State Australian Summit (CAS) kicks off on Friday in Brisbane with a line-up like no other including Senators Pauline Hanson and Malcolm Roberts, Robbie Katter MP and former New Ager and social media celebrity Jamie Zhu. From June 12 to Saturday, June 13, CAS will run seven 2-hour sessions featuring speakers from Pembrokeshire in Wales to Canberra. Founded by Dave Pellowe, CAS will hold its 9th annual national summit in 2023, since its inception in 2016. Held in Brisbane at Newmarket’s DiverCiti Centre, the event will cover Islam, social reformation, biblical patriarchy, abortion, and the changing landscape of politics. Speaking with The Daily Declaration, Pellowe said the social reformation session will be delivered in four parts. Specifically, four levels of government: personal, family, church and civic. The goal here is to provide clarity on biblical visions for society and what they would look like. Friday’s events will be capped off with a 6:30 pm worship and gospel rally celebrating Jesus Christ as the “true sovereign of Australia, her parliaments and people.” The free Friday rally’s key speaker is former New Ager, atheist and Australian social media celebrity, Jamie Zhu. Zhu, a full-time content creator, came to fame sharing pranks involving his dad online. Amassing a total cross-platform following of over 10 million, he converted to Christianity in 2021. Talking with Charlie Bakhos’ 2024 Stand for Truth podcast, Zhu recounted a life of wealth on tap, which culminated in sex, substance and self-abuse. After messing with Reiki, Tarot and other New Age elements, the 32-year-old said he began to spiral out of control. Seeking solutions, he dug deeper into the occult. Describing himself as once demon-possessed, Zhu coyly accepted a random invitation to go to church, only to end up finding freedom in Christ. What followed was the beginning of his journey towards complete deliverance. Alongside sharing his testimony, Zhu will share an earlier 3:30 pm timeslot with Anthony Gray and Youth for Christ’s Paul Bedwell to discuss patriarchy, power, order and responsibility. Other speakers scheduled to speak on the 12th are Robbie Katter MP, Family First’s Lyle Shelton, and Answers in Genesis Australia Managing Director, Mike Foster. Joining the distinguished Friday lineup are Bishop Ceirion Dewar, Dr Richard Shumack and Rev Mark Leach. Their topic is Islam, cultural direction and cultural compatibility. Human Rights Law Alliance’s John Steenhof and CPAC General Manager Barclay McGain will participate in a Pellowe-led panel covering the political tide. They will attempt to outline “what’s changing, why it’s happening now, and who will shape what comes next.” With the help of Lola Popoola from pro-life group Birdflip, Cherish Life Qld’s Matthew Cliff, Midwife Louise Adsett and ACL Qld director Rob Norman, CAS will discuss abortion. This coincides with CAS’s “premiere of ACL’s new documentary, Born Alive, Left to Die.” CAS’ Saturday sessions conclude with One Nation leader Pauline Hanson and One Nation Senator Malcolm Roberts answering questions like why should Christians support the party? All sessions, including the Hanson and Roberts appearance, have time allocated for questions and answers. A 5:30 pm VIP meet and greet will close the 9th annual event. CAS said the meet and greet requires a separate ticket, and will involve most of the speakers, including Senators Pauline Hanson and Malcolm Roberts. Speaking further about the event, Pellowe explained that “politics is changing.” “The Church is arising and flexing its prophetic voice to change politics in Australia,” he declared. This change and how the Church is to respond to it is the crux of this year’s summit. Changes to the political landscape are happening, and the Church should be ready to speak the truth of the gospel into it. For more info about the conference: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Millions Given, Conditions Worsen: Inside Alice Springs’ Troubled Town Camps by Brian Pickering [Commentary] The Little Sisters town camp, on the southern outskirts of Alice Springs, is a small cluster of about 20 houses on one circular bitumen road. It’s early noon on a bright weekday when we visit with Warlpiri woman Bess Nungarrayi Price and all is quiet, save for a clutch of barefoot school-age kids playing in the grass. Sun bounces off the tin roofs of the simple painted block-work houses, dogs wander about, car wrecks scatter the yards — it’s not much different from the 16 other town camps dotted around Alice Springs except for one thing. What’s all that rubbish over there? Litter is scattered around most of the houses, so nothing new there. But that long mountain of rubbish we can see about 200m from where we stand is the Alice Springs tip, a dumping ground for the region’s waste. “That’s not good, is it?’’ says Ms Price, a former Northern Territory MP, as we stare at the exposed slopes of rubbish. “It wasn’t always like this.” The Northern Territory’s 43 town camps have come into national focus recently following the alleged murder of five-year-old Kumanjayi Little Baby, who was taken from her bed in the Old Timers camp, 2 km south of Little Sisters, late on the night of April 25. Her body was found in the dry sandy creek bed of the Todd River five days later, a lonely spot accessed via a potholed dirt road and a walk-through waist-high Buffel grass that lines the banks. Birds sing, grand river gums, bent and twisted, await the next downpour. Footprints and tyre marks in the riverbed are the only signs that something happened here. The country was shocked by the crime and appalled at images of the town camp and home where Kumanjayi Little Baby was allegedly abducted by Jefferson Lewis, 47, who has been charged with her murder. Eight empty bourbon bottles lined a ledge of the home in the supposedly dry camp. The stained and ripped bare mattress where the little girl was put to sleep was propped against a wall; another mattress was wedged on the floor in the laundry. Garbage and old household goods had been dumped on the ground outside, where dogs wandered in and out. This level of squalor is not present in every house in every town camp, but it was an indication of how bad things can get. The media was invited into the house where Kumanjayi Little Baby disappeared by Robin Granites, her grandfather according to Warlpiri custom. He’s been a rock since she went missing — politely dealing with the media, comforting family, speaking at a vigil in Alice Springs. Along with the girl’s mother, brother and wider community, he’s clearly devastated by the loss. Mr Granites has lived in town camps and says the general conditions upset him; he wants the nation to see the reality of life here. They are no place for children, he says. “They are a dangerous place, the town camps.” Read more: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Catholic & Protestant Christians Make History — Consecrating America Back to Jesus by Matt Ransom [Commentary] Over the months of May and June 2026, the USA is experiencing two extraordinary moments of the grace and mercy of Father God. On May 17, 2026, US President Trump promoted and organised a day of Rededication for America. This National Jubilee of Prayer, Praise and Thanksgiving was a prayer gathering on the National Mall in Washington, D.C, led by the US President along with Evangelical and Catholic leaders. It aimed to celebrate America’s 250th anniversary by rededicating the nation “as one nation under God”. This was a significant moment in this great country. In addition, and planned totally separately, U.S. Catholic bishops are organising a national consecration of the United States to the Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 11, 2026. These are part of the same 250th anniversary celebrations. This prayer service in all Catholic Dioceses and hence churches will entrust America to Christ’s love, mercy, and lordship. In the Catholic tradition, a focus on the “Sacred Heart” symbolises Jesus’ deep compassion and call to conversion for humanity. The Catholic Bishops hope this event will encourage prayer, repentance, and revival across the country. This national invitation to turn hearts back to Jesus Christ is, at its centre, deeply biblical: Christ calls his people to abide in his love and submit every area of life — including our communities and nations — to his rule. The image of the heart of Jesus can serve as a reminder of Scriptures such as “Come to me, all who are weary” (Matthew 11:28) and “God so loved the world” (John 3:16), pointing believers toward the redeeming heart of Jesus revealed through his cross. Both of these moments across May and June provide an opportunity for Protestant and Catholic Christians alike to pray for a spiritual awakening in the USA. While we may differ on language like “consecration”, many believers can unite around the shared desire that Jesus Christ would be honoured, his Church renewed, and his gospel clearly proclaimed. It is a reminder that true national hope is found not in political systems, but in repentance and a wholehearted return to the lordship of Jesus Christ. Let us rejoice in these miraculous days in the US of A! Read this article on The Daily Declaration: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Bombshell: US Justice Department Charges ‘Anti-Racist’ Charity with Criminally Funding Cross Burnings, KKK, Neo-Nazi Groups by S.A. McCarthy [News] Following on a bombshell indictment filed earlier this year, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is charging that the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) funnelled millions of dollars to extremist groups like the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) to fund cross-burnings. The DOJ announced in April that a federal grand jury in Alabama had returned an 11-count indictment against the SPLC, charging the left-wing organisation with wire fraud, bank fraud, and money laundering related to siphoning more than $3 million in donor funds to “informants” inside groups like the KKK, Aryan Nations, and American Front. On Tuesday last week, the grand jury returned a superseding indictment expanding on the original charges. The indictment charges that the SPLC used millions of dollars in donor funds to pay “informants” to: - attend, host, and promote extremist group rallies and events; - support existing chapters of extremist groups, found new chapters, and expand those chapters by recruiting new members; - donate to extremist groups and their leaders; - Purchase materials for cross burnings; - Purchase materials to make Ku Klux Klan robes and hoods; - Create racist paraphernalia that extremist groups sold at rallies; - Publish extremist literature used in the recruiting of more members. Why? Family Research Council President Tony Perkins said: “The white supremacist groups had pretty much dried out, there wasn’t much money to be made. [SPLC] had to prop them up because it’s more than just fundraising, what they were doing is they were propping up these groups, these extremist groups, so that they could then put conservative groups next to them on their extremist list or hate list and raise money off of that.” He continued, “More than that, at the same time, they were committing bank fraud. What they were doing was working with banks to debank conservative and Christian organisations.” “This is the tip of the iceberg. There is so much more beneath the surface here with the Southern Poverty Law Center, and I commend the Department of Justice for investigating [them],” Perkins said, calling on Congress to investigate further. “There’s a broader conspiracy here with the Left. They have been used as the attack dog to go after effective conservative Christian organisations that have stood in the way of the Left’s radical agenda, and there is so much to be discovered here.” He added, “The Southern Poverty Law Center is a dangerous entity. They’ve been linked in federal court to domestic terrorist activity. They need to be shut down.” Read more: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Victorian Government Guide Warns Parents: Prayer May Harm Your Child by Kurt Mahlburg [News] The Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission has published a parenting guide that lists “praying with your child for them to stop being LGBTQA” among actions that “can harm your child” — placing Christian prayer alongside punishment and psychological pressure as practices families should avoid. The booklet, Talking with your child about sexuality and gender identity, was released in 2025 and produced in collaboration with the Raising Children Network. It is framed as practical guidance to help parents support children who identify as LGBT or who are questioning their sexuality or gender. The document also functions as a plain-language introduction to Victoria’s Change or Suppression (Conversion) Practices Prohibition Act 2021 (CSP Act) — and warns parents of the legal risk of certain responses to their child. Under “Things that can harm your child include,” the booklet lists: “praying with your child for them to stop being LGBTQA” and “sending your child to programs or therapies to try to convince them that they can stop being LGBTQA”. Mike Southon, Executive Director of Freedom for Faith, warned the booklet relies on the same vagueness that has concerned religious communities since the CSP Act passed. “Like the legislation, the booklet relies on ambiguous definitions of gender and sexuality and incredibly broad concepts of ‘harm’,” he said. It “appears to be an attempt to enforce their extreme ‘conversion therapy’ ban legislation and create fear and uncertainty amongst parents — especially religious ones,” Southon added. The guide advances the notion that gender identity is distinct from biological sex and that parents should affirm their children’s self-identity in all cases. It defines non-binary, transgender, and gender-diverse identities without qualification, and instructs parents to ask their child “what pronouns and other language they would like you to use”. On mental health, the booklet attributes distress experienced by LGBT young people primarily to external rejection rather than the condition itself. “Being LGBTQA is not a mental illness,” it states. “But LGBTQA young people can experience mental health problems like anxiety, depression and self-harming. This is usually because other people have treated them badly.” The booklet also acknowledges that parents retain the legal right to share their beliefs — then immediately signals legal risk. “As a parent you have the right under the law to share your personal beliefs and values with your child,” it states. “However, there are laws against doing things that could harm your child.” Southon noted the tension: “It says that parents can teach their beliefs while simultaneously implying that such teaching is illegal.” Victoria’s CSP Act, which came into force in 2022, carries criminal penalties of up to ten years’ imprisonment for conduct found to change or suppress a person’s sexuality or gender identity. The booklet informs parents that in some Australian states “it may be against the law for a parent, or anyone else, to send their child to any kind of program, therapy or counselling designed to stop them from being LGBTQA — even if their child agrees or asks to go.” A multi-faith submission to the Victorian Law Reform Commission’s 2026 focused review of the Act, signed by Catholic, Anglican, Jewish, Muslim and other leaders representing more than two million Victorians, argued the legislation “extends far beyond addressing these harmful practices”. The submission documented a chilling effect on pastoral care and family conversations: “There has been a reluctance among religious leaders, parents and other caregivers to engage in this area, for fear of falling foul of the law.” The submission asked directly whether a parent who adopted a “wait and see” approach to a child’s gender incongruence would be committing a suppression practice under the Act — a question the Act itself does not answer. The booklet directs parents to a list of support services that includes the Royal Children’s Hospital Gender Service, Transcend Australia, QLife, and Rainbow Door. No resources reflecting a biological-sex framework, a cautious clinical approach, or a faith-based perspective on sexuality are included. The VEOHRC is the body responsible for receiving and responding to reports about conversion practices under the CSP Act. A focused review of the Act by the Victorian Law Reform Commission — required by the Act itself but overdue by two years — is currently under way, with submissions from faith communities, legal organisations, and others calling for narrower definitions and explicit exemptions for prayer, pastoral care, and parental guidance. The Daily Declaration contacted the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission for comment. Read this article on The Daily Declaration: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Police Call for “Calm Heads” after Attempted Beheading in Belfast by James Macpherson [Commentary] Northern Ireland police have responded to an attempted beheading by urging locals not to lose their heads. I promise I’m not making this up. As if it wasn’t bad enough that an asylum seeker had tried to cut off a man’s head in the middle of a Belfast street, police chief Brendan Mullan told reporters… “This is a time for calm heads.” Tell that to the victim, a local man now fighting for his life in hospital after his head was near detached. More on the reaction by authorities in a moment. But first, if you’ve not seen video of the incident circulating online, I should warn you it is harrowing… That said, every European should see it. A Sudanese man, aged in his 30s, can be seen sitting astride a man in the middle of the street, cutting at his neck. He shouts “Allah Akbar” in Arabic. Shocked bystanders can be heard saying… “He’s trying to cut his head off! He’s slicing his head off!” A man finds a hurling stick and begins hitting the attacker as others join in before police arrive. Police confirmed they arrested an asylum seeker on suspicion of attempted murder. Which is something. We should all consider it a step forward that the police didn’t arrest the man with his head half cut off. But I digress. Authorities later confirmed that the suspect had travelled from Sudan to Paris and then on to Belfast where he claimed and received asylum in 2023. Police and politicians urged people not to share video of the attack. Because whenever a horrifying crime exposes the catastrophic failure of immigration policy, the real danger is people seeing it. They insisted the video should not be shared “for the sake of the victim and his family”. Give me a break. If politicians were concerned about Irish families, they would not have presided policies that permit Allah Akbar School of Knives graduates to be granted asylum. Politicians are not worried about “causing further trauma to the injured man’s loved ones”. They are worried about video of the attack causing trauma to their re-election chances. And so they should be. Irelanders should be furious that this man was given asylum in their country. Police, naturally, have said there is no evidence that the attack was terror-related. Again, this is why the video must be shared widely. I’ve watched it. The attacker clearly yells “Allah Akbar”. Read more: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Police Ditched Plan to Defame Stabbing Victim Henry Nowak as “Racist Aggressor” by @rod_lampard [Commentary] Hampshire police were planning to smear Henry Nowak as an “aggressive racist” three days after he was murdered. According to the UK’s Sunday Times, police planned to issue a slightly deconstructed version of events allegedly designed to save face by defaming the 18-year-old. The Times, which broke the exclusive, said the drafted “intervention was a highly unusual move.” “Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary sought to release a public statement to address what it described as online ‘disinformation’. “However,” The Times added, “the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) advised the force that such a step could risk jeopardising the ‘integrity’ of the case.” They pulled the claims after strong protests from Nowak’s family. This new information, The Times said, was “likely to put further pressure on the beleaguered force and its chief constable, Alexis Boon, because the conduct of its own officers was under scrutiny during the trial.” Bring on the reckoning! The apparent cover-up adds to the criminal Critical Race Theory’s (CRT) — only white people can be racists — “implicit bias” training, which contributed to Henry’s false arrest, and subsequent death. Police planned to run with the “he’s a rabid racist” falsehood, knowing full well there was “ample evidence” proving that Nowak’s Sikh killer, Vickrum Digwa, and his family were lying about being racially abused. The apparent woke plan to misdirect attention away from police, and the Sikh community, would have succeeded had the Nowak family not noticed the lie being spun about their son. Ditch the Witch: When Political Satire Meets Selective Outrage in Victoria by James Macpherson [Commentary] The witch billboards are not what we want to see — but those denying women sex-based rights are now suddenly invoking sexism when their own leadership is targeted. Ditch the witch? Well, sure. But which witch should a witch ditcher ditch? Should we ditch the witch who added gender identity to the Sex Discrimination Act, thereby dooming female spaces? How about the witch who remained silent when Moira Deeming was labelled a Nazi for advocating on behalf of women and girls? What of the witch who slams as “hateful” the parents concerned about the influence of gender ideology on their kids? And then there’s the coven of Karens casting their spells within the Federal Office of the Minister for Women… cackling “what does that even mean?” when someone dares mention “biological women”. When it comes to choosing witches for ditching, Australians do seem rather spoiled for choice at the moment. I only ask because Victorian Premier Hexa Plenty is in a tizz over billboards depicting her as a witch. Hexa Plenty has labeled the ads “sexist”. “People are entitled to disagree with me. That’s democracy. But I care that this attacks women.” Wait. What? Suddenly Hexa Plenty is worried about women’s rights? Where was this concern when men identifying as women were barging into female only bathrooms and sporting competitions? Where was this concern when women’s rights activist Sal Grover was being taken to the cleaners by someone who — in my sincere and honest opinion — is a man in a dress? Hexa Plenty was mute on all of that. But now that a scallywag with a mobile billboard has likened her to a spell weaving hag, she thunders… “Nothing about this is normal!” Her detractors would counter that nothing about Victoria is normal. Not the crime. Not the homelessness. Not the drug injecting rooms, nor the taxpayer funded overdose medicine vending machines. Not the trillion dollar debt. Not the potholes. Not the treaty. None of it is normal. But what vexes Hexa Plenty is being called a witch. And that tells you everything you need to know. Julia Gillard and Anthony Albanese have both run to Hexa Plenty’s defence. Gillard said she was “disgusted” by the slur. She said the signs were sexist and called for them to be removed. I have questions. How can you cry “sexism” when you refuse to define sex? And how is it that Gillard — with all of her concern for women — demands the removal of a billboard but not the removal of gender identity from the Sex Discrimination Act? Which is more vexatious to women? Are the witch billboards currently circulating Melbourne polite? Of course not. Are the witch billboards what we want to see? Not really. Are the witch billboards the least of the problems facing women in this country? Absolutely. That a coven of Karens are attempting to cast a spell convincing us otherwise is something we are well and truly awake to. Whatever you think of of the Ditch the Witch billboards, someone needs to take a broom to Victoria! Read this article on The Daily Declaration: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Thousands Stand for LIFE – Sydney Parliament House Rally Backs Sex-Selective Abortion Ban by Samuel Hartwich and Warwick Marsh [News] Thousands of passionate pro-life advocates gathered outside NSW Parliament House on Tuesday evening, 2 June, to support legislation that would make sex-selective abortion illegal in New South Wales. The rally, in support of legislation championed by Libertarian MLC John Ruddick, drew families, church leaders, politicians, and ordinary Australians united by a single conviction: that unborn girls deserve equal protection under law. The United Nations estimates 200 million girls globally are “missing” due to sex-selective abortion and infanticide. Opponents of Ruddick's bill have denied sex-selective abortion occurs in Australia. Liberal MLC Susan Carter disputed that claim. “I’d like to believe that was the case, but it’s just not true,” Carter told the crowd. “We have university studies showing it is happening. We have health department figures — flawed as they are — showing it is happening. And we have testimonies from health workers who know it is happening.” “Now, whatever you think about abortion, whatever reason you can find to justify some abortion, there is no justification to abort someone simply because they are female.” Research from Edith Cowan University confirms this alarming reality. Analysis of 2.1 million Australian births over two decades revealed that unborn girls are being deliberately targeted for termination, particularly within communities with a strong cultural son-preference. @JohnRuddick2’s NSW Abortion Law Reform Amendment (Sex Selection Prohibition) Bill addresses this gendercide directly. The legislation would prohibit anyone from performing, assisting in, or permitting sex-selective abortions, whilst removing professional indemnity insurance coverage for practitioners who violate the law. “We’re here at the front of Parliament House of New South Wales,” Ruddick told The Daily Declaration. “We’ve just had a pro-life rally in support of the bill I’m moving, which is saying that it should be a crime in New South Wales to abort a little baby girl in the womb because she’s a girl. “It is happening, and we want to send a message through the law that it’s unacceptable in Australia.” Read more: dailydeclaration.org.au/2026…

Is Biological Sex Now Legally Meaningless? by Australian Family Coalition [Commentary] What is a woman? I mean, I know – and I'm sure you do too. But a recent court ruling confirms that, legally in Australia, biological sex is largely meaningless. In the Tickle v Giggle case, the Full Federal Court ruled against a women-only app (Giggle for Girls) that excluded a biological male (Tickle) who identifies as female. The case was ostensibly about one social media app. In reality, it was about something much larger. This situation did not arise overnight. In The Lord of the Rings, King Theoden asks: "How did it come to this?" Bizarrely, many MPs seemed to discover this issue by way of media commentary on Tickle v Giggle last week. But people's memories are short, especially when it comes to "culture war" issues that are so easily ignored or dismissed. In 2013, the dying months of the Gillard Labor Government saw it amend the Sex Discrimination Act to include "sexual orientation" and "gender identity" protections. At the time, few Australians understood the long-term implications of the changes. I remember it well but, just like the marriage debate in 2017, those who tried to warn about these things called "consequences" were drowned out. Now, more than a decade later, we are seeing the ticking legal time bombs detonate. The Court has effectively confirmed that, under current federal law, biological sex is increasingly subordinate to gender identity ideology. That obviously has enormous implications for: - women's spaces; - female sport; - change rooms and refuges; - freedom of association; - and even our ability to speak plainly about biological reality. Most Australians would be compassionate towards people experiencing gender dysphoria. But compassion should never require society to deny reality. Nor should women and girls be expected to surrender hard-won protections because activists insist that biological sex is merely "assigned at birth" – a term actually used in the Sex Discrimination Act – or socially constructed. Henry Nowak, Christianity, and the Fate of the West by Bill Muehlenberg By now, you should have heard of the horrific murder of an 18-year-old student in the UK. A white Christian was viciously stabbed to death by a non-white non-Christian. But the police sided with the killer, ignoring the pleas of Henry Nowak as he bled to death on a cold, hard street. The tragic tale was not just about two-tier policing and two-tiered justice, but a story that is playing itself out all throughout the West. As the Christian faith is being rejected, all hell is breaking out. The Christian faith and Western civilisation have long been interchangeable, but as the West rejects its own heritage, it is asking for, and getting, trouble – big time. Three new articles are worth tying together here. The first two have to do with the Nowak murder and the end of the Christian West. The third piece looks at the bigger picture of why the West will NOT stand if we turn our backs on Christianity. Let me share just the opening paragraphs of an article by Gavin Ashenden on “Henry Nowak and the limits of secular idealism”: "The tragedy of Henry Nowak raises a deeper question than guilt or innocence: what happens when a society abandons Christian anthropology and replaces it with a secular doctrine of human perfectibility? The shock of being told about the way in which Henry Nowak died, stabbed to death by a member of the Sikh community who combined murder with character assassination, leaves us wanting to hold somebody accountable and to blame them. "Obviously, his murderer is to blame. But that is not a sufficient solution because the police created such a gross injustice that we are shocked to our core at what this represents about what our society has become. "It is also very tempting to blame the police. However difficult it is to control our sense of outrage and injustice, in the timeworn phrase, they too are casualties of a sort, for they were trained – in fact brainwashed – in the art of the new secular moral idealism that has replaced Christian philosophy and ethics. "So our real enemy is not (just) the police, who committed this gross injustice because they were brainwashed by those who trained them, but rather the anti-Christian ethic that overcame Christian philosophy and culture."
