Just added 46.08 kWh to my Tesla Model Y at a Supercharger in La Seyne-sur-Mer, France for €7.83 (~$9.05). That gave me ~179 miles of range. Cost: about 5 cents per mile. In US terms, that’s the equivalent of paying roughly $1.52 per gallon (assuming a 30 MPG car). For comparison — petrol and diesel in France right now are around €2.00 per liter, which equals about $8.75 per US gallon. So I’m paying roughly 1/6th the fuel cost per mile compared to a gasoline car here in Europe. And this is before factoring in the significantly lower maintenance costs on a Tesla (no oil changes, far less brake work, etc.). The numbers are pretty hard to argue with.
