73rd WHAS Crusade for Children Raises $6,235,132.67 for Children in Kentucky and Southern Indiana
LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Communities across Kentucky and Southern Indiana once again demonstrated the power of generosity and compassion as the 73rd WHAS Crusade for Children concluded with a tote board total of$6,235,132.67, the second highest total in Crusade history.
The funds raised during Crusade weekend will support children with identified health care, educational, and emotional wellness needs through grants awarded to nonprofit agencies, schools, hospitals, and other organizations serving children throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
The WHAS Crusade for Children is made possible through the dedication of thousands of volunteers, firefighters, donors, businesses, civic organizations, schools, and community partners who work year-round to improve the lives of children.
