I wrote a letter to all #yyccc councilors asking them to hold an emergency discussion regarding procurement of products and services the city buys from the USA as a response to the trade war initiated by the Americans.
I encourage all Calgarians to do the same.
Very telling stuff here. After running down the federal government a bit she closes by saying "you have a great friend in Alberta."
Not Canada. Alberta. #cdnpoli
Donβt mess with Canada. We have what the world wants and will sell to those who do.
- Most educated workforce
- Breadbasket of North America
- Oil, gas, critical minerals
- Lumber

They will tell you not to politicize the death of a child, but if you do not hold the provincial government accountable, more children will die. Cochrane is a city of 37,000 people. They voted UCP. They have no overnight urgent care.
A heartbroken Cochrane family is sharing their pain in hopes the loss of their little girl will be a catalyst for change. The 4-year-old was rushed to urgent care in Cochrane, only to find it closed.

Dear Albertans
@ABdaniellesmith will NOT be doubling oil production. Not soon, not ever.
Why? A whole bunch of reasons.
For starters, only the oil sands could increase production and there isn't enough US heavy crude refining capacity to handle 2x current supply.
So, no.
This afternoon, Iβm joined by Greg Ebel, CEO of Enbridge Inc., to announce a formal agreement to help increase oil and gas production and exports at a time when the world needs more affordable energy. x.com/i/broadcasts/1yoKMyZNoβ¦
