All in all, trip was mostly fun for me, but not ideal for less experienced riders. Good stuff but:
- A couple #MomentOfSketch bike lane gaps
- places needing signage
- HUGE opportunity to make Vista safer for bikes by routing onto wide conflict-free 4-mile long sidewalk. fin.

We need to work on publishing those routes. I have concerns for my family if we were biking on those routes.

Thank you for an evaluation of Sparks bike paths. Youbare correct we have a long way to go, but there are other places way more safe than where you went.

Today Donald Abbott and I, dedicated a new trail in The Stonebrook Community. There were a lot of very excited people who are looking for walking trails. I feel it is important to have a healthy community, where you can have interactions with neighbors.

We have a very talented cartoon artist who lives with us here in Sparks for the last 30 plus years and he has a cartoon strip called Pickles published daily.Brian Crane has a character, named Earl and his wife named Opal. Earl asked Opal "What do you call a person from Sparks?"

Personally I'm heartbroken for a pilot losing his life today, but he died doing what he loved. No better way to go out.

We received this picture through social media of one of our patrol officers assisting a citizen who ran out of gas on Rock Boulevard. Great work and way to represent what the Sparks Police Department is all about.
