Been working on a new incremental experience all about mining. A good friend of mine just finished up the trailer:

You can wishlist it here. I plan to have a demo sometime this month! store.steampowered.com/app/3…
Kin and Quarry by @TheFoxKnocks, an incremental mining game, is out now! [PC]
The magical essence of your sacred Evertree has been stolen and buried deep underground. As the land's steward, guide your people to dig deep to save it.

I admit, it does get a little tiresome getting stuff like this when I release finished games and move onto new projects. The entitlement is exhausting.
I don't mean to be elitist, but devs, genuinely, a game shadowdropping and taking up 0.1% of Steam's playerbase is not why your game did worse than you expected. I'm sorry.
I'm seeing some publishers that really need to figure this out, as well.
PSA: Nomad Idle will never be available on mobile (Android/iOS). Some bad actors have stolen the game and uploaded. If you bought the game on mobile, leave a review saying it's a scam and reach out to Apple/Google for refund.
@Apple is pretty much refusing to take them down. Terrible company.
I give Steam a lot of credit, but the way they keep ignoring obvious botting is a bit of a black mark, in my opinion. This has been going on by the same devs for over a year now. It's not even subtle, but nothing is ever done. It's wacky.
I'm starting to notice a trend of incremental games and lo-fi music. Anyone that play idle games have an opinion on this? I'm thinking it's because idle games are typically a pretty chill experience, and by nature of it being idle, you want something that's more background-sounding?
Thoughts?
I'm begging @YouTube to let me update my game's capsule art. I sent the e-mail to where this is requested twice, I get an automated response saying I'll get a reply in 2-3 business days, then nothing happens for going on 2 weeks now.
I don't mean to brag, but I'm genuinely stoked. Back on Trending Free on Steam and now the Demo is reaching heights I never thought I'd ever see.
Been a while since I've smiled quite like this.
I don't interact here often, but sometimes I get a notification and I check it. These days, very good odds it's some porn bot liking an old post I made.
Very satisfied with Bluesky in comparison.

Today, Nomad Idle crosses over into 14,000 wishlists, which is twice my original goal for launching the game. I haven't even put a demo out yet. Incredible.
