With apologies for the tech problems with the live stream, "Rapid Fire Reloaded", the Battle of Mouen, was a really good time. Probably screwed up a fair number of rules, but we'll be back. German win, for what it's worth.

Somewhat against my better judgment, tonight we give another go to "Rapid Fire Reloaded". The scenario is the Battle of Mouen. youtube.com/watch?v=fHggEagu…

Anyone who says wargames can't create player metas like RPGs, well, they've not played enough wargames. This, A.I. inevitable goofiness to the side, is a thing that happened during our Thursday "I Ain't Been Shot Mum" game. It will be with us for a while. @TooFatLardies

We dragged the Battle of Saalfeld out AGAIN, this time as part of a double playtest. Not just the scenario, but also "Valour and Fortitude" 4.0. The new "volley" rule was judged very good. The game remains one of the quickest in the business.

The nigh-absurd slapping fight between a single member of a Panzerknacker team and a PIAT crew, tonight's fourth battle from our Hell's Highway campaign for "I Ain't Been Shot Mum" is, as ever, tense and great fun. Should wrap next week. @TooFatLardies

Not the world's biggest fan of A.I., but I know for certain that I want Tabletop Simulator 3 or 4 to look like this. From last evening's Battle of Saalfeld for "General d'Armee 2". For those following the plot, the French lights have seized Croesten, but have yet to re-form.

Our Battle of Saalfeld for "General d'Armee 2" is tearing along with the French grabbing the first hamlet, but now both sides are locked in a knife fight as we've hit the half-way point. @TooFatLardies

This has been rattling around in my own head for what seems like years now. I find both these systems to be great and have logged hundreds of hours, but, I ask that you choose only one. And do not suggest others. Merest curiosity, but there it is.

I really should stop picking up new rule sets, but the lure of EMBIGGLING is just too great some times. This is Battle of Mouen (intro scenario) for "Rapid Fire Reloaded".

Playing the double-sized games Dr. Mustafa imagined for "Lasalle 2" dramatically changed the dynamic of our club games. The Allies now have the French by the belt in our 1813 scenario. Next week things come to cases.

Couldn't help myself. This is another version of Michael Hopper's Battle of Saalfeld, but this time for "General d'Armee 2". @TooFatLardies

German mortars hammered the attacking British claiming many including their Captain, Lt. "Shut Up" Williams, and Sgt. "Lofty" Sugden. The Allies have withdrawn to regroup and attack again. Hell's Highway for "I Ain't Been Shot Mum". @TooFatLardies
