Got the notification I'd been a Twitch Affiliate for a year.
I started this to raise money to offset the cost of food for the fosters, but we've been able to help more cats than I could've hoped!
And I've made some wonderful friends streaming over the year & I'm so grateful!

The absolute scathing disdain Bagel Bite regards me with every day has become a treasured ritual.
She resents us so much for rescuing her & her sister, Cow, as kittens from a life of being outside feral cats. 😂

Vet offices report some of the highest rates of burnout & mental health struggles.
We brought pizza, cookies, and a card to show our appreciation for everything they did for kitten.
Take time to be kind to your vet staff. Even just a card or a sincere kind word can mean so much

One of my friends is a vet tech and I asked her how to show appreciation and this was her suggestion. Apparently they, "Go wild for any food." And many staff members have kept cards from clients for over 25 years! It really does mean something to them. ❤️

I wish I didn't have to write this update.
We lost the kitten over the weekend. I typed and re-typed this a dozen times but there is no way to take the harshness out of it.
The vet called us on Saturday with an update. And shortly after that they went downhill and passed away.

They called us this morning and said she made it through the night. She isn’t out of the woods yet, but she tried to eat on her own. She couldn’t, but accepted syringe nutrients.
Now we just give her time and hope this little kitten keeps fighting. ❤️
