AM points out a bee in a field of flowers. He forces Ted to feel the wind on his face, to embrace a feeling he himself cannot feel. Just to take it away. The bee is something AM resents. Much like Ted. AM hates humanity for he cannot experience humanity.
Cain is the inverse

Caine (at least in my headcanon) admires humans and what they can feel that he cannot. AM sees something he cannot feel and experience and he hates humanity for it. While Caine admires it. Two characters in the same situation taking two meanings from the same thing.
