I finally finished Mass Effect 1. Great game with some truly fantastic world building. The story was definitely the main highlight here.

YouTubers who see this tweet, I've always been curious. How many views does one of your videos need to get for you to consider it a successful video? Obviously it depends on the size of the channel, but for me, if a video gets 20k-30k views, I'm usually pretty happy with that. Curious to hear what that number is for others.

New details about the 3 new scenes Darby McDevitt created for Black Flag Resynced. - A new chocolate scene has been added early in the game to show the loving side of Edward and explain his desire to provide for Caroline. - Edward's letter to his wife from Black Flag is now fully voiced, letting us finally hear what he wrote. - The final exchange with Bartholomew Roberts has been rewritten so that Caroline becomes part of the conversation, replacing the original modern day connection and bringing her influence into Edward's final moments with Roberts. According to Darby, the overall intention is for Caroline to remain emotionally present from beginning to end.

Immediately knew this was a Darby written scene because Edward is drinking chocolate, and chocolate was expensive in these times. It beautifully ties into AC Forsaken, recalling the scene where a wealthy Edward treats a young Haytham to White's Chocolate House for his birthday.

It looks like the Double Assassinations in Black Flag Resynced have improved since the April world reveal. The camera cut is still present, but it's a lot smoother this time since it doesn't spin a full 180 degrees anymore and face you in the wrong direction.

NEW Black Flag Resynced details: - Stede Bonnet will have a brand new mission and a proper epilogue that gives him a more satisfying conclusion than he received in the original game. - We will receive a letter from Stede Bonnet asking Edward to meet him on Mystery Island, and the quest allows us to uncover what happened to him. It can be started at the beginning of Sequence 9. - Confirmed to be 4 rifts which are tied to Edward Kenway, Blackbeard and James Kidd. - Great Inagua has been expanded into a full living hideout system similar to Monteriggioni, Cafe Theatre, and the train hideout from Syndicate. - Earn passive income, exclusive items and better loot through buildings you can upgrade and build in Great Inagua. - A new character named Bernard Woodhouse is introduced. He is the caretaker and butler of Great Inagua. - Collecting relics and artwork unlocks additional story content centered around Bernard and the mysteries of the villa. - Milo van der Graaff is now a physical chracter that appears in Great Inagua instead of only being referenced through letters. He offers naval combat missions and assassination contracts. - New paintings can be collected throughout the Caribbean, including portraits of Edward's friends and even some of his assassination targets. - The Padre is found in Punta del Caracol and must be convinced to return to piracy. - Deadman Smith is recruited through the new endgame chapter, "A World Without Gold", and is related to Blackbeard's storyline. - Animus Keys can be found throughout the world which unlock outfits, weapons and ship cosmetics. - The narratives in the Templar Hunts have been refreshed, and they have been redesigned to take advantage of the updated parkour system.

So, what's the metacritic score prediction looking like for Black Flag Resynced?

I'm going to go ahead and say 89 just based on how games media typically scores. It's the same game but expanded on. It fixes the issues critics complained about back in 2013, such as tailing missions, modern day interruptions, "basic" combat... All whilst having beautiful visuals. It even fleshes out characters who originally had unfinished arcs, and critics are going to love the new officer questlines. Also the removal of hidden blade combat won't matter to them as it does to diehard AC fans. I know I always nitpick cutscenes, but outlets usually don't care about that stuff as much. I can see it scoring high.

Wow, I've just seen what Techland with Dying Light 2's prologue and who on earth thought that was a good idea? REMOVING SPIKE? THE HOUSE PART? THE EASTER EGGS. That prologue was so good. Spike was a legend of a character. There's no logical reason to remove him at all. Now it's lost media...

This is what they've done for context. Prologue Changes: The prologue now begins with an intro video and immediately skips to the safe house where Aiden talks to Dylan on the radio. Around 30 minutes of early content has been removed, including: Meeting Spike Harran references and easter eggs Conversations about the end of the world Early parkour tutorials The Banshee encounter Aiden's nightmare dream sequence Overall prologue length has been reduced by roughly an hour and now takes around 45 to 50 minutes. The opening cutscene with Aiden collecting the radio now plays automatically without player input. New zombies have been added to the early area and some mission objectives have changed. After reaching the church, players must kill zombies and gather Honey and Chamomile to unlock the Medicine blueprint. Spike no longer teaches medicine crafting. Aiden figures it out himself. Some previously accessible areas are now blocked off with barricades. The first parkour skill unlocks after entering the tunnel. The first combat skill unlocks after the player's first kill. The Vault Kick tutorial has been removed. Players can ignore the skill entirely and continue the story. Fighting practice against Renegades is now optional instead of mandatory. The Bazaar hanging scene has been censored, showing only a black screen instead of the full sequence. Hakon and Biomarker Section The crystal container near Hakon has been removed. Opening the GRE crate now happens during daytime. The GRE crate no longer contains loot. Aiden no longer suffers a seizure after opening the crate. Entire Chase Sequence Removed The following events have been completely cut: The night chase back to the Bazaar. Being denied entry because Aiden lacks a biomarker. The famous Volatile scream cutscene. The rooftop fight sequence. Instead: Hakon immediately tells Aiden to meet him at the GRE Hospital to obtain a biomarker. Dialogue Changes Several conversations with Hakon have been shortened. The dialogue choices regarding what Aiden will do after finding Mia have been removed. The game now automatically chooses the line about settling down somewhere. Additional dialogue about Aiden's future plans has been cut. Binocular Tutorial Changes Hakon still gives Aiden binoculars. The tutorial that previously required marking the Windmill and the Bazaar has been removed.

Black Flag Resynced is so close. It was only quite recently when we were referring to it as Codename Obsidian. 29 days left.

This looks worse than AC Shadows cutscenes, and that's saying something.

These facial animations in Fable are looking really rough if I'm honest. The level of fidelity in the faces themselves is impressive but the NPCs are lacking facial expressions and seem very stiff. Really hoping that by the time the game comes out, the devs manage to fix them

Anyone checked this since it appeared? Has it changed?
Ubisoft has secretly added some ISU content in the latest update of Assassin's Creed Shadows. Go to this location called the Hidden River in the Yamato region, and you will see structures from the ISU civilization on the ground as well as floating in the air. Some birds are also flying around it. The location is also labeled with a codename, indicating that it is still in development. Could this also be related to the next Animus Rift mission, the Black Flag Resynced collaboration quest, or the Kassandra quest in the YEAR 2? Only time will tell. Thanks to @sk4th4 for the info.

Random ranking of the underwater exploration in every Assassin's Creed that has it. 1. AC Odyssey: Aegean Sea is beautiful underwater. Sunken palaces, shipwrecks, etc. Goes pretty deep too. A ton of marine life. 2. AC Origins: Nile River, Lake Mareotis, Fayum Oasis. Definitely the most creepiest, especially all the bodies. 3. AC Valhalla: Too dark and restrictive. Occasional Roman ruins can be found. Freezing water mechanic is cool, reminds me of Rogue. 4. AC Mirage: Can only go underwater at the oasis spot, but it has the coolest underwater location in any AC game with the Isu chamber. 5. AC Shadows: They didn't even try. Barely anything down there to see or interact with. Black Flag Resynced will most likely be 2nd when it releases. I don't believe it'll have the same exploration factor as what Odyssey did, given it's not an RPG, but visually it'll be the best looking one by far.
