At our annual organizational retreat in San Diego this Sep, My Green Lab staff shared inspirations, discussed our 2023 goals, and optimized our business plan. We were excited to reflect on our strategic plan milestones and celebrate our fantastic accomplishments of the past year!

During June 2022 6 labs from Earth and Ocean Sciences in the University of Galway received Green lab accreditation, 4 received green accreditation and 2 received a platinum level. They looked at chemical & plastics waste disposal power usage and efficient use of cold storage.
ALT The committee members were Sheena Fennell, Aedín McAleer, Dr Janina Buescher, Dr Nessa Golden, Sonny Fatimatuj Zohara and covered laboratories within the Ryan Institute run by Prof Peter Croot, Dr Rachel Cave, Dr Liam Morrison, Dr Shane Tyrell.
