Green River's Double Oak Toasted Bourbon is a fantastic example of how a toasted finish should be done. Toasted marshmallow, maple candy, graham cracker, sweet oak, & plenty of rich bourbon character.

🚨The first in the Nation!🚨
A single barrel Larrikin higher proof 9yr bourbon proofed with rosewater. I gotta say it’s a summertime dram.
Full review coming soon!
Opened up my @ASWDistillery Fiddler encore. Pretty solid cigar batch, love that bit of rum funk and the maple syrup comes through. Not quite sure it’s worth the $100 price but it’s tasty.
This James E. Pepper single barrel pick goes all in on antique oak, cedar chest funk, and a thick oily mouthfeel. It's a bourbon that completely paints outside the traditional flavor lines, and that's exactly why I enjoyed it.

Honestly, Writers Tears Tequila cask finished is a pretty solid pour. The agave notes are forefront and complement the Irish whiskey well! While not a mind blowing pour, it’s still tasty.
Larrikin's Cigar Lounge is one of the more unique pours I've had this year. Dark fruits, maple syrup, cinnamon sugar, and a rich oily texture somehow come together across FIVE different finishing casks without becoming a mess.

Got to set down with Writers Tears Japanese Mizunara finished today. This might be my new favorite Irish whiskey. How well that finish brings the spice and depth of flavors. Unreal.
Smoke, sea salt, honeyed malt, and a wild balance between Tennessee whiskey and Islay Scotch. Chattanooga Whiskey’s Triple Islay Cask Finish is one of the most unique pours I’ve had this year. Smoky, layered, and dangerously drinkable.

Pretty eventful weekend for pickups! Few things on sale and priced to move!
Very excited to try Fiddler’s Encore with these kinda finishing coming together!
A bourbon made with 100% Bloody Butcher corn, West Fork Whiskey Company delivers a soft, floral, spicy bottled-in-bond bourbon that somehow stays approachable while still feeling unique. Sweet dusty corn, peppery spice, & a whole lot of craft done right.

Today might be my biggest pickup of bottles in a long time. Random stop at a store I haven’t visited in a moment lead to a HUGE sale of @WalshWhiskey Writer’s tears ever seen. Each bottle only $24.99.
I couldn’t say no!
