The usual script: release him in a very sick state, probably appears in Masaka court or Kalangala over silly charges, talk to the Magistrate to deny him bail, remand him, then play on with mockery of the judiciary.

🚨 Exclusive: Stellah Nantumbwe has come forward with her side of the story, sharing evidence that she left her former husband Saidi Bukenya’s residence without taking any of his assets or household property, contrary to reports circulating in the media. According to sources close to the matter, Saidi had been using Stellah’s Lexus vehicle during their relationship. When she decided to leave, she reportedly took back her car, which is said to be one of the reasons behind the ongoing dispute. Stellah allegedly believes this has contributed to what she describes as a smear campaign against her. Another reported reason for the separation is that the couple had been living in a small apartment. Sources claim that Saidi repeatedly promised they would move to a larger home, but the move never materialized. Frustrated by the situation, Stellah is said to have eventually decided to end the relationship and move out.

Netflix’s Viral series The Polygamist is based on the book of the same name by Zimbabwean author, Sue Nyathi, which was published in 2012. The book was rejected by major publishers, so Sue decided to self-publish it. Fourteen years later, it is now number one on Netflix in South Africa.

10-20min is a bit of an exaggeration I think 5-10 minutes would be fine

I 100% agree on your safety point, the C-Class safety architecture is genuinely very strong. But on your cheap in the long run point, i do believe and trust that, that experience is only real for someone who knows what the car needs and provides it and its very clear you did… But my main point here was generally about the market dynamics as to why these cars land here in abundance at prices that suggest the previous owner had already done their math. Your experience as a responsible owner is not what that pricing reflects at all…

The idling allows for oil to circulate as you complete your driving checklist. Combustion engines work in the same way. If you live in Kisoro, idle the vehicle for 10-20 minutes.

The fuel concern is not my argument, sir. The issue am pointing out here is what happens inside the engine during those 5-10 minutes. Cold oil has not reached operating viscosity. Cold raw fuel from the over-fuelling on a cold start washes down the cylinder walls and dilutes the little lubrication that is there. Piston rings accumulate wear when this becomes a daily routine. This is a basic long-term engine health conversation. Also, this idle-to-warm instruction comes from our grandparents carburettor era. All Modern EFI engines are calibrated to warm up under gentle load, not while sitting stationary...

Idling your vehicle (1200-2000cc) for 5 -10 minutes going by today’s fuel rates (UGX 6500) will cost you between UGX 500-1000 at most. Please idle your vehicles.
Idling your engine for 5 minutes or more before you drive off in the morning just wastes your fuel! Modern engines warm fastest under gentle load, not when idling. That cold start morning ritual is burning your now-expensive fuel to achieve totally nothing. Your piston rings actually wear out faster when raw fuel dilutes cold oil. The right way is to start your engine, give it 20 seconds. Then drive gently until the temperature needle lifts...

I really don’t know where you people get your information (experience) from. I’ve owned a C180 and a C200 before. All I can tell the masses is that these are spectacular cars. Expensive to buy but cheap in the long run as regards to consumption and maintenance. SAFER too.
Because the market that prices them cheap already knows something you don’t… This C200 depreciates fast in Europe the moment its out of warranty, the repair conversations start, Timing chain issues, Cooling system faults, Electrical problems that only a specialist can fix. The white man being smart, he runs the numbers, sees he is now sitting on a money pit and decides to sell at a loss. Then our dealers buy them in bulk and ship them down to our market where the mighty badge carries prestige and the actual cost of ownership is the part nobody here studies before they buy…
